We went there (just to) eat and we enjoyed it very very much. The dish of trout was good as well as the cow meat. The best dish was clearly the shrimp 'el la plancha' it was amazing! We did not try the hotel but it seemed good.

I can honestly say staying at the Miramelindo Spa Hotel was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The hotel as a whole has a beautiful design to it. There are numerous paintings on display that were personally done by the owner. The rooms are clean and each room has a beautiful, unique feel to them. The food is also amazing and the management/staff is friendly and very helpful. There is even a “mini Amazon” that you can walk through in the hotel that has beautiful flowers and fruits growing right in front of you! It is perfect walking distance from many local attractions and a short bus ride away from the center city of Baños. I highly recommend staying here and I am looking forward to my next stay!

Walking distance to Pailon Del diablo. GREAT breakfast. Walking distance to other restaurants and a trail road up the river. On the Rio Verde, which was like a sleep machine for us. Beautiful place. Very friendly family run place. We stayed an extra night.

We stopped here for lunch after we visited Pailon del Diablo waterfall. The lunch was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We came with a school group and they were able to seat all of us. The food was some of the best we’ve had. A beautiful spot!!!

I stayed 1 night with my parents and the week after I brought a group of 12 tourists for lunch. 1) The hotel and the rooms: THE GOOD: The hotel has beautiful gardens and unique artwork all around its facilities. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. My parents got the room called “the blue house?” - stunning, with a view of the river and a nice bathtub overlooking the river. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: The only problem is that they never had hot water and in the morning they run out of toilet paper and they didn’t have extra to replace it. Since there are no phones in the rooms, they had to call me to go get more toilet paper for them. The rolls of toiler paper are actually very thin, with a very thin layer of paper. I got a room with jacuzzi. I wonder how practical that is given that they don’t have hot water. I had maybe 2 minutes of hot water and then it was gone. The room was comfortable but not the shower area since the shower is on top of the jacuzzi, making the surface of the floor where you take the shower, very uneven and maybe dangerous for an older adult. Amenities are ok, shampoo is anti-dandruff and comes in a sachet. I would come back with family, not with my American friends and clients who are used to higher levels of comfort. 2) The restaurant: loved the food here! Fresh homemade bread, fresh ingredients and fantastic service! We took a group of 12 tourists for lunch before going to Pailon del Diablo. Lunch was delicious! Locro (potato soup), trout and passion fruit mousse. We made reservations in advanced and called them 1 hour ahead, so when we arrived everything was ready. It’s only a couple of minutes drive from the Devils Couldron. Great service, beautiful gardens, very nice food. Will bring my groups of tourist again. Tip: get their 3 course meal composed of 1 soup (order their delicious locro) + 1 entree (order the trout) + 1 dessert
