An intriguing little hotel with the added bonus of a free transfer from the airport. The hotel itself is a tad jaded, nevertheless it has lots of quirky character. Checking in was painless, but beware there are no lifts! BUT our bags were carried up to the second floor for us. It's within walking distance of the centre, but there...

I've been 2 nights at the hosteria. As the service includes transfer from he airport, I didn't have any trouble to get there. About the location, it's a bit far from the center, but it's not so killing to get there. A taxi could cost you about ARG 30.00 from hosteria to the center. In winter can be so difficult...

My husband and I stayed at Hosteria Foike during our grand tour of Argentina, the last stop of which was Ushuaia. The rooms were clean, modest, nicely decorated and a good size. The hotel is small, almost like a B&B, so don't expect luxury. But, it was a perfect accommodation for a two-day stay. What left the biggest impression on...

This is a nice, quiet hotel. The owners were lovely, and even provided a complimentary transfer from the airport. Breakfast was adequate. It an easy walk to town but it's a bit tougher a walk back from town up the hill, but not a big deal if you're of average fitness. Overall great value and a nice quiet place to...

It was fine. A lot of complaints in the reviews I've read, but really, Ushuaia is expensive in high season, and if you're going there to pay $5000+ pp for an Antarctic cruise, perhaps spend $200+ on a hotel room so you don't have to complain about the $130 you paid for this Hosteria? The staff was nice, bed was...

I stayed here based on the recommendations on Expedia. The hotel is on a steep hill away from town. When I arrived the girl at the front desk was friendly, but didn't speak much English . A man, the owner I assume took my large bag downstairs. I was shocked at the room. Two twin beds in a concrete walled...

Not sure why this establishment is listed under hotels, it is a small bed and breakfast and it does not provide the service levels you would expect from a reasonable hotel. We had a 6am departure on the last morning and a request for a light breakfast was declined. Reception area was unmanned in the evening. Location is not particularly...

1st the positives top floor room has lovely view clean and comfy overall now the negatives: on the day we arrived we were given the ground floor room which was very tiny and cramped though we had booked the top one---the owner said this is our tradition... we think he overbooks... it was 135 $ for the tiny room and...

Like most reviewers we had the large attic room. This room has views to the Andes, a large bed, plenty of storage space and interesting art on the walls. The staff are friendly and the hotel is warm and comfortable with a pretty seating area in the foyer and light, bright breakfast area. Breakfast is a little disappointing, there isn't...

We were already happy when we found the Hosteria Foike for booking, long before the trip itself. And we've been looking forward arriving there. And we were not disappointed :) . It's a lovely cosy place, really nice rooms with view over parts of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel. It's mostly quiet, a quite new house. The rooms have a...
