This luxury hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms were desperately in need of renovation, it was ridiculously hot in the rooms, my niece and nephew's room had a terrible odor, and the food was just okay. Where to start, my room while very spacious, was stained and in need of an upgrade. I literally placed a towel over the bidet as it was dirty and there was black mold around the shower. There was a piece of surgical tape on my bathroom countertop from a previous stay. The linens, bedding, and furniture were stained with some moth holes. To compound the problem, the walls were paper thin. Imagine listening to your neighbors having a party until 5:30 am the next day. Further as this was a family trip and we all had our own rooms, my niece and nephew drew the short end when it came to the rooms. Their room smelled horrible, was ridiculously hot even after turning off the radiator, and their neighbors were fighting. The staff did help finally in switching their rooms, but that was not until the next day. The food in the restaurant was just okay. Recommend avoiding the desserts in the case by the entrance as they don't appear to be changed or replaced regularly. The true high point and the whole reason for even staying here would be the views. The view of Beagle Channel were so incredible they were incomparable.

What an amazing setting and experience. We arrived by car having driven 9hrs from Punta Arenas just after 10pm on our first night and the staff gave us a warm welcome. We stayed in the senior suite for 3 nights. What a lovely suite with a spacious terrace overlooking the snowcapped mountains and the Beagle channel. Wow. Breakfast was included in our rate (a spectacular buffet) and we also booked a day excursion offered by them for a boat cruise for a day visiting the seal island, lighthouse etc. The hosts were so warm and friendly, and really made us feel at home (especially also seeing we don't really understand Spanish), they really made an effort in translating. Thank you so much! We had such a fantastic time and really soaked up the professional service and amenities.

Excellent hotel! Great quality, great staff. Highly recommended. Perfect location. Very comfortable. Dinner - food quality was okay. Can find better restaurants in town for dinner, but breakfast and lunch were quite good.

I was very impressed. You are treated like you are the only guest. Hotel arranges excursions, offers free shuttle, nice restaurant and beautiful views of Beagle Canal from rooms, lobby, sunroom and pool. Numerous glass enclosed outdoor seating areas. Staff speaks English as well as Spanish. Casual but elegant. I would come back.

I stayed at Los Cauquenes with my family for five nights and we had a wonderful time there. The resort's setting and the personalized service offered by all staff are what set this resort apart. We dined at Reinamora, the resort's restaurant, several times and the food was always plentiful and, most importantly, delicious. We did three tours with the resort and we had a wonderful experience in all. Although the price of the tours might be a bit higher than the ones offered by local travel agencies, we got wonderful guides (a special mention goes to Walter)
