This excellent hotel is located a bit far from the downtown area but which it makes up for with free daily transfer to and from the downtown area which is actually a 15" drive. The rooms are very spacious overlooking the lake which makes for a beautiful scenery. The breakfast is very modest and tasty too. The staff are ever... More

The hotel is located right on the Beagle channel in a private setting. Wonderful views from the rooms and dining room. The staff was really attentive and assisted me in planning trips around the area. The location is about 10 minutes from the town center, but the hotel provides regularly scheduled round trip shuttle service. Only ate dinner there once,... More

the hotel has a wonderful location 10-15 minutes taxi outside Ushuaia, just in front of the Beagle Channel. From your room you can view the channel with the wind blowing, the mountains on the Chilean side and imagine Antarctica not far away. Other than that, everything else is pretty average: - old decoration, probably renewed in the 80s, with limited charm... More

I booked a 2 night stay as I was en route to Antartica, but wanted to explore the area a little before I left. The Tolkeyen Hotel has spectacular views and is in a spectacular location. The hotel itself is very dated but clean. The staff couldn't of been more helpful and they made sure our stay was comfortable. The... More

The hotel is a bit outside Ushuaia, but it offers free transfer to town three times per day, which take 10-15mins. The location is wonderful and the landscape magic. The restaurant has a good menu and big windows, which allow to enjoy more the place. Breakfast is a bit poor with respect to all the nice services there. For this... More

The rooms are clean and big. Good beds. The hotel's service is basic. People do nothing to give you a good time. But the disappointment comes when you enter the restaurant. Waiters in a bad mood, coffee in the morning with old bread, forget any fruit or fresh food. We had dinner one night and decided that was the worst... More

I was on an organized trip and so I didn’t get to pick the hotels that I stayed at. Initially, I was lukewarm about this hotel because it is a forty minute walk into town and given the route and terrain, this was not very practical. Also previous reviewers had commented negatively on the unreliability of the schedule for the... More

The hotel itself is a bit old fashioned and the rooms a little tired, but welcoming and the room we had was a really good size, lots of space and comfortable. The location (right on the Beagle Channel) is the reason to stay - great views from the bedroom window and all around the hotel. It is located a fair... More

The hotel is near the airport and is quite silent and cozy. Great views! Specially from the restaurant. Decent breakfast but no wifi service! Room's bar offerings were poor. Good heating system and fair bathroom. Not exactly the best in town but you may want to give it a try!

Hotel has a pretty location right on the water, across the inlet from airport. Older rooms with dated decor and they are not very clean. Stay here only if you have a car as the hotel shuttle service has in-frequent drop off times and it is a 40 minute walk to town. The rooms have thin walls which allows you... More
