We stayed here prior to departing on a ship to Antarctica. The location is just two blocks from the main street where you can find a ton of shops and some fantastic restaurants and it's only about 20 minutes from skiing. It's a bit like a chalet and has some beautiful windows with great views of the area. The spa... More

This hotel is just to put your bags in and crash at night. Poor service, skimpy breakfast included and a 24 hour manifestation with police in riot gear right outside our door. At one point they barricaded the front door with a sofa so no one would go out that entrance. We were awakened at 7:30 both mornings with drums... More

Yes, the location is great if you are going to the port, but the town is small enough that you can stay most anywhere and be at the port rather quickly. The breakfast was good, they had a hard time keeping it stocked as there was a ship to Antarctica heading out. There was no wifi in the rooms though,... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before heading to Antarctica. The Hotel Albatros is located across the street from the port and taxi stand and around the corner from the main street. This main drag has plenty of shops bars restaurants and casinos to get supplies or for things to do. The hotel itself has wifi through out. In... More

When we arrived the hotel had a really nice ambience and check in was very quick once they found our name for our pre-booking. The rooms are not huge but comfortable for a one or two night stay. The only main problem was breakfast in the morning. This was a bit of as bun fight as tables had not been... More

Ushuaia is a really beautiful town at the tip of Cape Horn. The ONLY thing I didn't like about it was our hotel, Hotel Albatros. This, was worse than a motel in a third world country. Old, tired, noisy, tiny rooms, smaller bathrooms... There is no individual heat or cool control in the room and they keep the hotel at... More

Stayed here before joining our cruise ship as do the vast majority of people who stay here. I think this makes the hotel a souless place as people are just coming and going all the time in big groups and stay no more than one night. As other reviewers have mentioned the wifi definitely does not work anywhere in the... More

We stayed here on the last leg of our South American Journey. the location of the hotel is great as it overlooks the harbour and is on the main shopping street and close to all the restaurants. We had what seemed like a studio flat complete with kitchen. the bathroom was small with no vanitory unit to put things on..... More

initially told we didn't have a room, but it appeared we had paid for an extra prior night in order to check in at 9am. The hotel was fairly nice, good location. Food in the restaurant couldn't be charged to the rooms. Breakfast meagre. Not very friendly Unfortunately our room 106 could not get the wifi , advice to ask... More

Outdated everything, shabby, old furniture, prints from 80s, hideous orange decor. No wifi on the rooms, don't listen to whatever they tell you, it does not work. Hard as rock pillows. Bathrooms remodeled. Breakfast was just as poor, if it was not for crossaints, there would be nothing I'd touch:((
