The location of the Albatros is convenient and close to the dock but walls are paper thin. My first room I could literally hear every word the couple in the next room said. The staff was nice enough to move me to another room without someone booked in the next room so much better. They have a spa on-site and...

The bedroom was reasonably sized and comfortable, the bathroom was small and the layout awkward. Cleanliness, spa and laundry service were good. Staff were helpful, although I would agree with previous comments that sometimes there were insufficient staff at breakfast and in the bar ( we left the latter 1 evening after waiting for 10 minutes). The porters were very...

This seems to be the hotel that most cruises use prior to Antarctica. It would not have been my first choice. It is clean and well layed out. Wifi is patchy at times. Breakfast is just OK. I think it was expensive for the facilities and stayed elsewhere on my return from the cruise. It is close to main shopping...

Staff were efficient, The breakfast was really good, and the central location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic for exploring the town. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff are knowledgable and helpful. The hotel is used during the cruising season (Nov -Mar) as a staging point for cruise ships.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel at the end of a cruise as part of a group conference booking. Thankfully it was just for one night. The room was musty and aged looking, but at least it was quiet. The staff tried their best, but under-staffing made their job very difficult. At breakfast time the restaurant had only...

Stayed here for one night recently. The hotel is clean and comfortable but the rooms are little dated. The wifi was generally poor and I tried many areas of the hotel without much success. The included breakfast was good.

Fantastic location, really close to the port. Walked there with a suitcase and backpack for my cruise departure. Little bumpy on the roads, but very easily done. Hotel was good location to shops, bars, restaurants- everything.

A well located comfortable and clean hotel. WiFi is slow when too many people are hooked in as in most places unless superfast broadband is available. The restaurant was also very good for dinner and breakfast. We stayed here overnight before our Antarctica Cruise so the location close to the port was ideal.

The Hotel Albatross is a great place to stay. It has very comfortable rooms, great bar/meals area and a perfect central location. I really enjoyed breakfast and had a wonderful crab meal for lunch one day.

This is well located hotel which does the job but a couple of things let it down. The wifi coverage is poor and when you can connect it is very slow. We sat outside our room in the corridor to get wifi. There are plenty of cafe in town with fast free wifi. Also there is nowhere in the hotel...
