We stayed here for two nights prior to sailing to Antarctica, and then stayed at the Arakur Resort for two nights afterwards. The Arakur was only slightly more expensive but exponentially better. The Albatros has a helpful and hard-working staff and a convenient location, but little else to recommend it. Rooms are so-so. Wifi only works in the lobby. Breakfast...

This is very central in town and looks very nice from the exterior and the lobby and public areas are nice but our room was tiny and the bathroom ridiculously tiny, smaller than you get on a ship. Perhaps other rooms are larger but #309 is terrible. The bathroom fixtures are all modern and very nice but you can't move...

A classic hotel in the center of Ushuaia. Good service and good food in the restaurant. The start of many trips across the Drakes passages on the way to Antarctica. Nice rooms with good bathrooms. Good breakfast and close to get out to eat and feel the local beat.

This hotel was recommended to us because it is close to the embarkation point for the Beagle Channel tour. It is fine, everything works, but nothing particularly special. It is a pity they have not put the bar on the top floor - the views, which given the position, should be a major feature, would be stunning. As it is...

The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are comfortable, but a bit small. The staff are fabulous and very attentive. There is free WiFi and a nice spa. The hotel has a restaurant and the food varies from very good (try the empanada's) tojust so-so. The biggest drawback is the breakfast which I found pretty limited. There are many...

The location of the hotel is very nice it is just in the middle and cross to the tourism information where you can have your passport stamped for a souvenir. There is free wifi in the rooms. The rooms are clean but small. They may offer you a level -1 room but do not accept it. As these romms are...

Our experience is this hotel was not as poor as a number of reviews suggests. Standard hotel. staff were good. Location is great for town but is very near cruise terminal which could be a negative if ships in and passengers staying at hotel pre boarding. The police mentioned in other reviews are guarding the regional admin building next door....

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in September. We thought the location was excellent being very close to the main road (Av. San Martin) and the dock. Getting to restaurants, bars, ATMs, shops, and the Beagle Channel pier was very convenient. One morning my wife and I met for breakfast when I noticed that the sunrise was going...

We stayed here prior to departing on a ship to Antarctica. The location is just two blocks from the main street where you can find a ton of shops and some fantastic restaurants and it's only about 20 minutes from skiing. It's a bit like a chalet and has some beautiful windows with great views of the area. The spa...

This hotel is just to put your bags in and crash at night. Poor service, skimpy breakfast included and a 24 hour manifestation with police in riot gear right outside our door. At one point they barricaded the front door with a sofa so no one would go out that entrance. We were awakened at 7:30 both mornings with drums...
