This is a great find in this remote town of Patagonia. The onside appearance is good and the foyer is modern and clean. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and very clean. The restaurant offered a good selection of food and all the meals were excellent. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were friendly although spoke limited English.

We stayed 1 night on our way to Tierra Del Fuego. The hotel had secure parking but there was not that much space available and we were glad we got there early or else we would not have had secure parking. I asked previous to our arrival if they would secure us a place but they indicated that it was... More

CDNTRAVELLERS2 Dear Guest, We regret the bad experience you had at our Restò on your last trip, probably there was a misunderstanding, from our waiters, as we do have from time to time some plates off the menu as the produce we get is off standard, but there is no shortage of Lettuce, The Breakfast is from 7 A.M. till... We have arrived in Rio Gallegos on Dec 31st almost 9pm. After checkin in our hotel we went out looking somewhere to have a special dinner. The hotel's restaurant is pretty nice and the food is amazing. A very good option to have a dinner and probably to stay too.

This is a nice, modern hotel in downtown Rio Gallegos. They have a small parking lot that accepted our Land Cruisers and the rooms were small, but comfortable and well-appointed. The highlight was the restaurant and personal attention from the hotel management. The manager spent 20 minutes sharing details on Ushuaia and other locations we would see on our trip... More

We didn't plan to stop in Rio Gallegos but we were waiting for our car permit for Chile to be e-mailed to us from Buenos Aires. The Hotel Patagonia was right in the center of town and it looked like the best place to stay for the night. The room was very nice and they had free parking right behind... More

The hotel rooms are standard quality of 3-star hotels. Relatively poorly equipped, but clean. They have rather small both rooms. Lift seem often out of work which can be a problem if you stay in one of the higher floors. For the car, the hotel has parking facilities in the backyard which is important in a city with very limited... More

The hotel is nicely located half a block from the main avenue. It is the best option in Rio Gallegos. The staff is good, the rooms are large enough and very clean. The TV system could be improved. Breakfast is good enough. The restaurant has boxes with its own TV witch is pretty cute as you can watch the news... More

Despite Rio Gallegos being a dull city, this hotel is well worth coming for. Second time here, first was a year ago and even with inflation I think I got a better desl in pesos this time. The rooms are not fantastic. Usual fat screen TV, some problem with WC cistern, and a crowded mini-bar with a little to high... More
