The Hotel is close to the center on the hill and looks really beautiful. You have a nice view to the lake. The rooms are also looking nice. For me the mattress was a bit too soft, but this everyone sees different. I would have rated this Hotel full points, but the lady at the reception could be a bit...

Nice hotel, but terrible service. Extremely rude personnel working and owners. Terrified with people stealing their food and doing something they don't like. They spend their whole day watching the security cameras. Pity they are rude because it is a nice place and well situated from the center. The bathrooms could be cleaner.

This is the first time when I'm so confused to write hotel review. Los Canelos is very nice hotel, good located in workable distance to the city. You first impression is very positive. Nice rooms, well decorated indoors. Breakfast as usual in Argentina. Than you are starting noticing small distracting details. Everywhere are visible plates what you are not allowed...

Rooms were comfortable but the breakfasts were very poor. The atmosphere was not relaxed, and there were no credit card facilities so one had to pay in cash. This was difficult for us. We travelled in 2014 in October.

This is a charming looking little guest house no more than a 10 min walk to the central strip in El Calafate. It's cash only, which I didn't notice when booking on booking.com. The main lady doesn't speak very much English at all and, I think as a result of the language barrier, comes across quite severe. There are lots...

We probably had our most unpleasant stay in Argentina in this hotel so far. To be fair, we've had almost only good to great stays so far. Inferior service compared to the really great Argentinian hospitality we've experienced so far (to top it off: everywhere signs with what you're not to do...). Rooms outdated and grubby and really not that...

Well appointed rooms and a beautiful lobby with friendly service and great food and wine. It is only a 10 minute walk to the center of town and very convenient. I thought it was a great value hotel for the price.

Very much enjoyed this place. Beautiful views, lovely ambience, good food and wine at a very reasonable price. Perfect for an upgrade after several days of travelling and some fairly downbeat places elsewhere and in Calafate itself. Prices very reasonable for the standard provided. Thoroughly recommended

We stayed in this privately owned Hotel in El Calafate while visiting the various glaciers in the area. A friendly reception by the owners who have a limited amount of English but that is not a problem. The building is built from felled trees and the whole interior is like a picture from a lodge in the Swiss Alps. The...

We spent there only 2 nights during our trip through Argentina beginning of Jan 2014, but it was very good experience. It is place runs by family and you can see it. We felt there like home and had great rest with the view on lake from main terrace. It is quite difficult to communicate, because staff didn't speak English,...
