I had the good fortune to stay at Eolo over the Christmas holidays last year - it was a beautiful setting, very gracious, rooms are very modern and have every amenity, fabulous bathrooms and the views are spectacular. It sits between El Chalten/glaciers and El Calafate and has a very unspoiled horizon view from every window. The food was also... More

Lovely straightforward room. Good food, good location for Perito Merino glacier. El Calafate is a dump and certainly not even worth the taxi fare to get there. Perito Merino glacier is truly wonderful. Hotel good but noisy when American groups staying there. Corridors have stone floors and American visitors trundling their wheeled suitcases along the corridor early in the morning... More

Spending 4 nights at this truly wonderful place in the Argentinian pampa was one of the highlights of our 4-week trip through Argentina. I agree to every observation made by previous guests at this exquisite lodge and posted earlier. I would just add to go horseback riding one morning and/or afternoon to the lagoon in the Anita Valley and hiking... More

On the drive to EOLO you will wonder how can there possibly be a luxury hotel in the middle of nowhere. And then you arrive. We received a warm welcome and taken to a room with an incredible lake view. This is understated luxury and allows you to focus on the your surroundings... which are stunning natural beauty. We took... More

After a short flight from Ushuaia to El Calafate, our Eolo private transfer was waiting for us at the airport- a short and beautiful drive along the Lago Argentino and we arrived to " our Home for a few days".. *Location: this magical Lodge is the best in El Calafate, close enough to town, should you wish to shop, far... The setting is unbelievable and there are amazing views from every room. The food was a highlight for us, prepared and presented with Relais and Chateaux standards. The staff were wonderful and booked some day trips for us to Perito Moreno and Lac Argentino. Would absolutely recommend this property and will return if we are ever back in the area.

Amazing setting, excellent food and great staff. Quite a long drive from El Calafate but on the way to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Would prefer relaxing at this hotel and doing day excursions than being in the town of El Calafate which is nothing special. If you are also planning to stay at the Explora hotel in Torres Del Paine... More

This is one of the most relaxing placed I've stayed. There is only room for 34 people so the halls are quiet, guests are respectful and staff tiptoe throughout the resort anticipating your every need. The food is excellent, the facility clean and catering to your every need. The remoteness among the Patagonian steppes is phenomenal.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The facilities, views, food and service is second to none. It is not cheap but it is still very good value for money. We went for extraordinary hikes in the the surrounding hills and on the Perito Moreno glacier. Id also recommend a boat trip on Lago Argentina.
