We spend a week in Cafalgate and the hotel had a great location, just 200 m away from the Main Street. The employees were friendly and very helpful. Peaceful place and clean rooms. There is a small take away place just next to the hotel that has great empanadas.

We stayed here for one night. The place is very close to the bus station and close enough to the main street. Room was comfortable and breakfast was ok. Only complaint would be due to the noise coming from the walkways upstairs.

Situated near the bus station and positioned just above the town centre this is a reasonable location. Not flash it is never the less clean and tidy. Rooms have heating and are quite comfortable. Wifi is fairly reliable and breakfast is available. A communal fridge on a share basis is available to guests.

Hosteria Patagonia sits on a ledge overlooking El Calafate. It's a pleasant place, is very clean and has a good breakfast; the hostess was very welcoming. You may need to be patient with the keys - they're a bit tricky at first!

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Calafate and found the accomodations to be great for our needs. Note you are not paying for 5 star luxury, you are paying for a clean bed, and shower and a typical hosteria breakfast each day. We were able to get room 1 with a king bed (cama matrimonal) and this room... More

We stayed two nights here after a recommendation from tourist info in the bus station - we wanted somewhere close by and this was literally one block from the bus terminal! Still convenient for the centre too (10 mins walk). Rooms are clean and very nice, set round a courtyard and garden. We had one on the second floor and... More

I spent two nights here occupying two different rooms. The place is very close to the bus station, so it’s a convenient choice if you have an early bus to catch. The rooms are spread on two floors around a central mini-garden and both rooms I stayed in were both located on the ground floor. All windows faced the garden,... More

We stayed here 4 nights and the room was well priced, very clean, excellent wifi, hot shower with good water pressure (a big relief in the cold of Patagonia), good breakfast and flexible with timing Would definitely recommend and go back

We stayed here 2 nights bookending a trip to Perito Moreno and El Chalten. Overall I was pleased - the rooms were nice, all facing a courtyard. We had only a few blocks to the bus station, which also happened to be the gateway to the downtown area, so we were off of the sometimes boisterous main street of El... More

My experience of Hosteria Patagonia was as part of an Intrepid Adventure Tour, therefore I can't comment on value for money, as it was part of the tour package. We found our small double room in good condition - clean sheets, somewhat comfy beds, a small TV, and a clean (a little bit old) bathroom. All in all, it was... More
