We stayed there in February (only putting up a review now though..) and it is one of the worst hotels we stayed in while in Argentina! The hotel is located quite outside of town by the lake. If Im honest, there is nothing happening in this area, it is boring, you'll see someone

The place is well constructed and the views are fine. it would make a great hotel under a different management. But the service is bad, the heating is either unexistent or, when you insiste a 100 times to get it going, will cook you alive. Internet is terrible. The personnel is

Las Dunas is relatively new, has great views and is very clean. It is not in the center of town, so you’ll need a car or cabs to get around. We had a rental car and it was fine. Parking in town was not that difficult. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, but nothing fancy.

This place has a nice view, but that's about the best thing I can say about it. The staff truly ignores you. We made the mistake of having lunch at hotel on New Years Day. There was one other table occupied. No one came to give us menus or take our order. My mother-in-law had to

They offered to take mine but in end I left them at the travel agency who arranged my trip to TDP. And yes I did spend a similar number of days in TDP. I came to this hotel three times in all as I also went off to El Chalaten.

Hey! I would consider booking in advance as it's high season now in Argentina (summer holiday). Depending how long you're staying, you could also book the trip in town when you arrive (there's many agents on the main street that offer the tours) If you wanna be sure, book in advance. Or.. rent a car and do it yourself.. that's what we did.. We were the 1st to arrive and it was so peaceful, when we were done, all the crowds started coming in. Hope this helps :-) Let me know if you have any other questions!

Realmente no recuerdo exactamente los precios, pero eran similares a los de los restaurantes de la ciudad (un poco más caro que en Bs. As.). Recuerdo que había una excelente picada para 2, variedad de pastas, un día hicieron un guiso de cordero que estaba exquisito. La ambientación y el entorno con la vista al Lago Argentino es inigualable.
