We stayed there 2 nights during our trip to Patagonia, but all of us wanted to have stayed longer. The people are very friendly and the food very good. Once day we had "asado" and the lamb was even better than in the good restaurant in Buenos Aires! The rooms are huge and the ambiente is very nice - with... More

We stayed at this traditional Patagonian Estancia in January and had a wonderful experience! Our room was huge; located at the end of the hallway had tall beautiful windows with views to the garden and mountains. All meals and non-alcoholic drinks are included; food is simple, delicious and home made with care. The chef prepared a different dish each day... More

The setting can't be beat - stunning vistas at any time of the day! So - it's really all about the location because there are no other hotel / motel / ranch options in the area… unless you want to really rough it and go camping. Check-in: "You want us to show you to your room?" um, yes please -... More

We spent only one night there, and I wish we spent at least 2 or many more. The location is beautiful, peaceful, very comfortable and the staff is super helpful. The Perito Moreno glaciar is a big hour away by car. We had a great asado dinner cooked in their grincho restaurant, the horse ride was lovely too. I wish... More

This is a working ranch, so you can watch the cattle and sheep, including a sheep-shearing demonstration. Horseback riding is offered of varying lengths from one hour to days. You can also just relax and enjoy the riverside location with a good book. Just when you think it can't get any better--you sit down to a meal. The food is... More

We spent one night at the Estancia, which included our room with king bed and ensuite bath, and dinner, breakfast and lunch. As this is a sheep ranch that raises sheep to sell as lamb, a good parrilla of lamb is the main course for dinner. It can indeed be very good, but on occasion the division of the cuts... More

A wonderful old estancia with charm and character - creaky floors, hot stove heating, lovely large rooms etc. We were a private party of 11 staying over the New Year period, and all of us took full advantage of all it had to offer. Horse-riding, sheep and horse corralling, walks along the lake, and up into the nearby hills. Absolutely... More

We were touring South America for 3 weeks and wanted to stay at places that were friendly, provided good food with a relaxed ambiance. They need to be clean and tidy and we like 5 star ratings but we do not want 5 star facilities. We like somewhere that feels like home for a while. This is a working Estancia... More

This amazing estancia has everything. Pristine views of the Andes and lakes, friendly and skillful gauchos, and amazing food. Our guide and gaucha for the day Jackie was an incredible host and solidified our decision to come back and stay for longer next year. The incredible parilla they served us at lunch was mind-blowingly good and the horses and other... More

This review won't be much difference than many of the previous reviews. This place is simply awesome! After a 50 km drive on a dusty, dirt and gravel road, you arrive at this oasis. The original main house is 100 years old, and there are 10 rooms. There was always a fire burning in the main room, and everything is... More
