Stayed at the camp grounds with full hook-ups. It was nice and quiet. Our neighbors were very kind and fun. We ate at the lodge for dinner food was good. Lunch was good as well but the service is SLOW...... Once we were served, some of the food was cold. We sent it back and was fine. They did have... More

My girlfriends and I met our husbands after their quad ride from Tonto Basin to Mormon Lake. We rented Zane Grey cabin where there were 7 of us and one bathroom. It was clean enough but sparse for cooking things I had brought my own which I would recommend includung your own towels and pillows. The rooms were comfortable enough... More

Went for a bow shoot with Arizona Bowhunter's and had a great time. Will be back to just camp also. Showers and bathrooms was very clean. The camping site was great. Water and sewer dump for your trailer was very convenient. Recommend to anyone that loves to camp.

Our hiking partner suggested we stop here for an early dinner after our 11 mile hike; so glad he did. They all had silly black bean burgers while I went for the gusto and had Cowgirl Prime Rib that was much more than this cowgirl/hiker could eat (and that was all I ate and took the sides home cuz Prime... Some friends and I headed up to Mormon Lake for lunch. I had never been there. It is beautiful. Yeah, the lake isn't there right now. But, don't tell anyone. The people there didn't seem to know! I plan on returning for some mountain biking and camping.oh, and the coolest part is they are open year-round. I love snow!

I was pushing hard into Mormon Lake before the fast approaching snow when I realized that my tentpoles had fallen from my pack somewhere in the past couple of hours. I hurried back a mile or two with no luck then turned back toward Mormon Lake. I suddenly had no shelter so I was hoping for some good luck with... More

My boyfriend, 13 year old daughter, and I did the 1 hour snowmobiling tour. My daughter road with me. We had a blast! The sleds are touring models so a bit heavy and make wide turns, but they rode very smoothly and even had heated handles for the driver and passenger. First we were taken out to a wide open... More

This was a beautiful place to have a rustic wedding and provided a weekend of fun activities for everyone. I had some delicious pulled pork at the restaurant which is walking distance from the campground. Cabins are cabins with adequate amenities and basically clean. Beds were comfortable. Drapes needed some adjusting and wouldn't close to keep out the sun and... More

Well as an equestrian, I look forward to our Mormon lake trip every year.
