Delightful boutique hotel outside of the city of Bariloche. There is beautiful art work all through the public areas, rooms and the gardens. Breakfast was a buffet which was plentiful. We had a nice large room and were very comfortable. Wish it had been a bit warmer so we could have used the pool.

Decent hotel, which could be improved with a little better maintenance. Our room was large and had a great bathroom and view of the lake. There is lots of original art scattered throughout the hotel, which makes for a nice visual experience. The breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed several dinners at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant servers were all smile, helpful and eager to please. We loved all of them. The hotel gym and spa were okay, nothing special. Front desk was efficient, nothing more. The only negative is the lack of maintenance of the facilities. The hallway carpet outside our room was disgusting with bleach and other stains. I noticed several places where wood moulding was missing or hanging on the wall for dear life. The gym was dirty with lots of dust and cobwebs. Give me a week and I could easily fix all these problems. Overall, I recommend this hotel, but would highly recommend with better maintenance.

This is a fabulous boutique hotel located right on the lake, each room has a beautiful unobstructed view. It's located about 20 minutes from the downtown, so the hotel provides the combination of a peaceful area but easily accessibility to the town, restaurants and shopping. There's parking if you have a car, but it's easy to get around by taxi/remise. The rooms are quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable, the mattress was firm but not hard. Lots of drawers and hanging space for clothes. And I believe each room has a private terrace or patio, we had a patio with lounge chairs and a small table. The property is gorgeous, and it really is an art hotel. Beautiful paintings and sculptures throughout the building and on the grounds. Large windows facing the lake in the lounge and in the dining room. Breakfasts are ample, with items on a buffet as well as cooked to order selections like omelets and crepes included. We ate dinner at the hotel 3 times because the food was so good. Staff is also helpful and friendly; because there are a limited number of guests the staff gets to know one very quickly. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the El Casco Art Hotel. First, it's an attractive hotel. Our room was large, well furnished and decorated with artwork. The bathroom was also large with separate shower and bathtub. Our room had a balcony with a view of the lake. The service in the hotel was exceptional. The people working at the reception provided helpful advice on what to see and do in the area. A very good breakfast was provided which included both a buffet and menu from which you could order items such as a fruit plate or crepes. I would definitely return to this hotel

We spent a family vacation in the Argentine summer (December-January) after a hard Covid19 year all around the world. It was our first trip after the pandemic was declared, so our expectations were very high. We stay at El Casco Art Hotel for 2 weeks and we were overwhelmed by the kind attention of the staff, all the protocols and care we received from them and the impecable condition in which we found the lodging. The staff was always ready to provide us with recommendations for activities, experiences and places to eat. Also with the best indications to visit Bariloche and making reservations at restaurants. Rooms are big and full of light, with warm decoration and overlooking the Nahuel Huapi lake. The view from our room was stunning and it had a balcony with chairs and plants. All the bedrooms are decorated with Argentine paintings from famous artists. The garden is beautiful with plenty different colors of roses and other local flowers. The breakfast is abundant -with protocols- one can order many things: croissant,s eggs, fruits, yogurt, pastries, breads, juices and they are brought to the table. Room service is also available (although the trays with the breakfast are left outside the room)The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and is very good with lots of options to choose. A unique experience. There´s a heated pool and jacuzzi in the garden. It´s necessary to reserve the chairs and umbrellas. Also if you are looking for a relaxing massage, it´s customary to make a previous reservation. I strongly recommend having the special tea menu El Casco. It´s unique and you will spend a pleasant time you will never forget.

Stayed for three nights and enjoyed the majority. Beautiful setting and super facilities. Very quiet when we stayed and the breakfast was in the main lounge which was not conducive to eating on your knee. Overall nice place to stay on the outskirts of the town.

Recently spent 4 days here at this lovely find in Bariloche There is nothing quite like Room 3's terrace and view of the Patagonia sunrise over Lago Nahuel Huapi. The hotel is tastefully decorated and filled with original artwork (lots of Patagonia scenery)- I highly recommend taking a walk through. I found the front desk staff incredibly helpful and resourceful. I owe my thanks to Natalia, her partner, and Julian for helping me coordinate activities. The room had some tired looking carpet but was quite comfortable and spacious with a stunning view. The shower has good water pressure + temperature. Excellent room temperature control with heat and air conditioning. Breakfast is light -- eggs, bacon/sausage, yogurt, cereal, grains some fruits, and bread.. it runs from 7-11AM. Didn't try the restaurant but the tea + biscuit in the lobby was delightful-- it's a great way to spend an afternoon resting and writing postcards! Paula in the spa is very kind and can work magic on your sore muscles after a long trek. And, with 550 pesos, you can easily get to most of the sites in Bariloche- including Cerro Campanario, bike / kayak rental spot, and the town center. This place is really just perfect- not as crowded as Llao Llao but with high standards of quality. I almost didn't want to write such a great review for fear it'll attract all the masses! I definitely plan to stay here again!

We stayed here after a very intense 5 days of sightseeing in Buenos Aires and Calafate. We used the hotels facilities to relax and regroup. The rooms are quite spacious and the staff is so so helpful. The views from every angle are stunning. This is a small hotel, so it feels intimate.

We were so impressed by the views and the beautiful landscape. Upon check in - I’m not sure I can describe- the room was sprayed with a deodorizer so strong I could barely breath. I’m not being dramatic. It permeated everything in my luggage, in the room , it was a nightmare. We asked the front desk to not use any sprays or cleaners other than water when doing our room. The second day it was tolerable but the spray was still wearing off. By the 3rd day it was fine but the room had a doggy smell so we figured that’s what they were trying to cover up. I loved the hotel and property but please tell them not to spray before you come. The breakfast was really nice. We loved the pool and had it to ourselves each time. The restaurant was excellent. We learned the last day it’s great to order tea in the lobby and enjoy the view from the living room. Very nice local restaurant across the street- mallins , opens at 7:00pm - great food! M

The location and the gardens make the views of Lago Nahuel Huapi stunning. Front desk staff was always very helpful and we had dinner at the hotel one night and the food was very creative, full of texture and interesting (in a very good way) flavour combinations. The design of the hotel means pretty much everywhere you go you get the gorgeous views which is a plus. Two reasons I'd say is not quite a 5*: the fabric of the building is in very good condition but the furniture is a bit tired, stuck in the 90s which does not do justice to the hotel overall; and 2) there was one guy (cannot recall his name) who is restaurant staff at breakfast who was borderline rude when we tried to be as kind as possible if we asked for anything (when and if we asked).
