I booked for five days and extended. I'm not sure how many hosts here, but the three guys I met with were all fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Bariloche is a great place for hiking and it was always nice to go back to Kospi after a long day. The place is very clean and has a stylish decor. Highly recommended
I think we missed out not meeting Juan, as per other reviews that seemed influential in their experience - but at the end of the day we were glad we only stayed here one night. We actually were referred to Kospi from another hotel where we were staying - there was an Ironman competition in town and we would've been stuck out on the peninsula so we booked Kospi the night before. Check-in was easy, the front desk staff was friendly - it's the quality of the room and breakfast that was sub-par. The room we had was very cramped - our suitcases couldn't even fit on the floor when opened - and that extends to the bathroom where the toilet was located inside the shower and the entire bathroom floor flooded into the bedroom when we did use the shower. The mattress was the worst we've ever slept on - it was sunken in in the middle from so much use and kept us tossing and turning all night. It was also extremely noisy outside even when we closed the window. The breakfast was also a bit of a let down - it was your typical hotel breakfast spread of bread, cake, yogurt, coffee and juice, but nothing was exceptionally good. Based on other reviews, it seems these conditions suffice for most - but we will never return here to stay.…
We moved here from another hostel and instantly wish we had booked here first. The place had a cute 1960s hipster feel to it. The common areas are homely and comfortable. WiFi throughout. The rooms are super clean and we had a restful sleep sadly leaving too early for breakfast although the staff were happy to try and fix is something. Really great place to stay.
Kospi is a great hotel! Quiet place and walkable to downtown, the hotel itself is beautiful, cute, and clean. The biggest benefit of staying at Kospi though was Juan. Outside of being really friendly and easy to talk to, he helped us coordinate our entire stay in Bariloche. We were booking things somewhat last minute because a trip we were looking at cancelled last minute. Juan recommended a new trek for us and even helped us book with the company because their website was down. He helped us coordinate where we needed to go ahead of time in order to prep for the trip in town and gave us great information about traveling in Bariloche. He also provided some tips for the next leg of our journey in El Chalten. I would absolutely stay here again!
