Kitchen has the normal facilities but not a lot of equipment if you are doing your own meals. All the floors creak, which was problematic...

Natalia, the host, will make you feel at home very easily. The property has a garden where you can rest, read, cook on the parilla. Inside the rooms are all spacious, made of wood in the local style. People of all countries visit this place, making it easy to meet other travelers. Viva Alaska!

We have been staying here for years, and we'll keep on doing it! What makes the place special is the people running it: they help us with great explanations about what to do around Bariloche, prepare excellent food and create a kind of warm community atmosphere that really makes the accommodation part of the trip and memories... Hope they'll keep...

This is a great place to stay when visiting Bariloche. You are greeted by friendly faces, with tons of knowledge of the area and activities to do there. The hostel has a great atmosphere to chill out in after a busy day. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Perfectly situated on the outskirts of the fun upbeat German influenced city of Bariloche and a skip away from the outdoor actives part of the region. It is up the street from a few beautiful beaches and wonderful dinning. This place feels like a Home-stay because of the...

Stayed in Alaska for about a week in April. Small, friendly hostel who's owner Nati and staff really take care of their guests. Nice, hot showers, whole place nice and warm. Plenty of blankets and a towel supplied. Kitchen well organised and plenty of utensils. Toast, Jams and cereal for breakfast - not too many options but enough to fill...

Two things made this a great stay during my stay in Bariloche (march 2015): 1. Great staff. The owners and people working in there are as friendly as you want them to be. They can provide you with all the necessary information and be one more of the gang. They organize travels too so if you don't know what to...
