The "lobby room" is a great idea (a common living room) but the rooms are too and bathrooms are too small even if you are not claustrophobic. The family of owners are friendly and forthcoming but a richer breakfast choice would improve it in the eye of the casual customers - an the fresh croissant is a good thing but...

I went here with my friend for four nights and our time here was absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly, very helpful and willing to organize trips for you. The hosteria's atmosphere is super nice - family-like, cozy, clean and warm-hearted. We had an amazing breakfast each morning with fresh juice, homemade marmalade, toast and croissants. So if you...

The hosteria is absolutely beautiful and the rooms have a view of lake Nahuel Huapi and the mountains. Paula and her brother run the place. They are super kind and they have information about almost anything in the city. I loved it!

This hostería is just a short distance away from the main tourist areas. Some here have complained that you have to walk uphill... Well, it comes with the territory in Bariloche. We found the location just perfect, far enough to be quiet, close enough to walk. The building is very charming, a bit old-fashioned and surrounded by flowerbeds. A private...

Located just a short walk from the centre and an even shorter walk to Manush (great little beer bar), the hostel is well located in a quiet street behind the civic centre. The rooms were fine with wifi and a private bathroom. Very clean. The staff are amazingly friendly and attentive and you will most definitely feel comfortable at Guemes....

This is a different hostel, with the facilities of a small hotel. It is located not so far of the Civic Centre, in a quiet place to rest after the daily activities. We stayed at the first floor, in a room with reasonable size, heating, wi-fi and private bathroom. Every day the maid changed the towels and tidy the room....

Usually I book an upmarket hotel when we have a short break. This time we booked the Hosteria because of the gopod reports onTrip Advisor. When we arrived my wife was surprised at the stadnard of the hostel. It wasn't five star luxury which is what she expected and I came in for a bit of grief initially. However the...

While this hostel is a little far from the downtown action....it's quiet...and if that is what you are looking for it is certainly worth the walk. The staff was most welcoming and. Really made you feel like an honored guest. On the first night I had stepped in some dog poop and tracked it in the house unaware. Once discovered,...

We stayed a long time at the Hosteria Güemes (9 + 5 days), mainly attracted by the reasonable price (180AR$/double), by the kindness of the owners and by the pretty and quiet room. The price also included a (not impressive) breakfast, with cornets, toasted bread, butter and jam, coffee/tea/milk. Its location is not very central but it can be reached...
