Stayed there for one night on the way to villa la angostura, the hotel itself is really nice with well arranged common areas, the staff at the desk was amazing, very helpful and kind, breakfast was ok, The view from my room was also pretty good .

Not worth it. Very old, small rooms. No A/C. Smoking allowed on all floors. Best look elsewhere. Stayed on the 8th floor that overlooked a street! At eye level! The only good thing is that it is less than 50mts to El Nacional restaurant! We almost slept there instead.

"Gran Hotel Panamericano Bariloche" is nicely located - very near Av. Mitre and all restaurants and chocolate shops. But if you are looking for "lake view", forget it: only a few apartments can offer you a fair view of Lake Nahuel Huapi, that is quite a bit far down (opposite buildings block lower levels apartments' view). The hotel is quite... More

First time visiting patagonia and words and pictures don't do it justice, breathtaking views everywhere you turn. The hotel is in a perfect location right by the main strip of town, great restaurants and bars situated all around (Tony's next door has amazing meat choices!). Easy drive up to Cerro Catedral and the hotel even arranged our transportation for us!... More

As there is no air condition in the rooms it was impossible to sleep. To get hot water in the tap and shower you have to wait 10 - 15 minutes. It needs renovation. The location is good but not in front of the lake.

It is a well located and comfortable hotel, but it really needs renovations. I've heard it looks the same as it did 15 years ago! Especially for a 5 stars, it does not fulfill the expectations. The staff, however, is really efficient, polite, lovely and treats the clients very well. The spa is also nice, with a breathtaking view of... More

It is not the newest hotel and do not expect a lot o employees attending you but we recommend it. In our case we´ve got a big room with a very nice view to the lake (actually the whole wall was a window), quiet environment, clean and with everything in good conditions and working well. Very nice and complete breakfast... More

Definitely not a 5 star hotel and very poor value for the price. Small, cramped rooms, terrible service (still waiting for my room to be done at 8:30 PM after requesting it three times). Rooms have very poor sound insulation, so you hear every person walking/talking on the hallways and/or closing the doors to their rooms. BTW: room access is... More

Stayed in Hôtel Panamericano for 3 nights in June. Service was good (our reservation was "upgraded" and we got a tranquil room at the back on the 2 floor) Room size good with good of cupboard space. Small but clean bathroom. Did not try the hotel breakfast. Will recommend to others.

I went to Bariloche over 20 years ago and decided to go back now during Easter. The agency chose the Hotel Panamericano on Av. San Martin in the center of town . I realize now that one has always to check the hotel chosen or suggested on a website like this even if you trust the agency where you buy... More
