This review is long overdue. Because I have neglected it for so long, I may be light on specific details. We stayed at Hosteria del Prado at the end of February, 2012, which is the end of the summer in Bariloche. Because we were there late in the summer season, but before ski season, the hotel was fairly empty. Additionally,...

Very enjoyed our stay. A great location to discover both the town and cerro catedral with excellent bus links. NIgel is a very friendly host with excellent advice on what to see and do in the area. there are plenty of restaurants that are excellent value around so no need to go into town at night.

We only stayed in Bariloche for one night en route to Villa la Angostura, which was a good decision because Bariloche is not an attractive town compared to other places in the area. The B&B is an old house with a slightly gothic air about it, with small but comfortable bedrooms. The location is quite far out of town (not...
