We stay there for a week, everything was nice. The cottage is good if you want to have an intimate experience where you can cook your own food and wake up surround by nature. The only gap we found is a lack of built-in-closet and maybe a bath tube, but after that everything was nice! We recommend it considering the excesively expensive (a bit crazy for what they offer) hotel prices in the city.
We have been there ones again this Fall. This Place keep year by year same spirit, same good people ( Susana & Guille ) . We feel this place as our home. Thanks guys. Hope to visit you next year. Agus & Julieta.
Confortables Cabins .Huge & nice garden with playground. Perfect place for peaceserchers & nature lovers. Kids friendly. Guillermo & Susana Thanks for these incredibles holidays. Till NeXT year :-)
I realized as soon as we arrived that I had made the right choice with Cabañas en el Corazón del Bosque! Set in a large park, the 6 log and stone cabins (2 for up to 8 pers., the others for 4) which make up the complex are picturesque outside and fully-functional inside. Our larger cabin consisted of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (towels were changed daily), open kitchen/diner and living room (with chimney), individual BBQ outside and parking space for 2 cars. It was exactly as portrayed on the website. The kitchen had everything we needed: cooker and oven, microwave, large fridge, full set of crockery, glassware and several pots and pans. The maid service even included the washing-up but we didn't take advantage of this. The fact there were 2 TVs meant no arguments with the children over what to watch and although we are bi-lingual, there were several TV stations in English with the cable service provided. Although it was winter, the superb under-floor heating meant we were never cold and even when the rain lashed down for the last couple of days, there were never any leaks. Guillermo and Susana, the owners, who still live on site, were very welcoming and helpful, explaining how to work the remote for the gate, safe etc. Our kids had fun playing football outside with their 2 boys and they are the sort of people you can ask for a cup of flour! There is very little I can fault with En el Corazón del Bosque. If anything, the beds in our 2nd bedroom were rather narrow - too narrow for my brother-in-law, who in the end slept on the wider sofa-bed in the living room. I also noticed that the cupboard space in the 4-berth cabin was much less than ours but our friends assured us it was fine for them. All in all, I would not hesitate in recommending these cabins to anyone. Bariloche is well worth visiting and Susana and Guillermo left us plenty of tourist info to give us ideas on how to spend our time there. I would also thoroughly recommend the Esquela Mountain Ski School in Cerro Catedral - a very professionally-run operation with friendly staff, patient instructors and great flexibility regarding hours of booked lessons…
