We love Cabanas Quetrihue! The property sits on a slope coming up from Lago Nahel Huapi and the views from every cabin are absolutely stunning! From the moment we drove in, we couldn't believe the beauty. The cabins were more expensive than what we paid near Bolson and Trevelin, but I think that the price is a reflection of the more upscale town of Villa La Angostura and that the price is fair considering how special the property is. The cabins were spotlessly clean, well decorated, and very comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful (they even helped us make horseback riding arrangements). Keep in mind that they speak limited English, so knowing some Spanish made our communications easier. There are the most beautiful flowers planted all around the property. Our teenagers loved the mountain elevator. There is a sidewalk that leads from the hotel into town. And while we seemed to use our rental car to drive the distance, it would be a nice place to walk or jog if you have the time. We highly recommend this spot!!…
This was one of the most expensive rentals we had during the two months in Argentina. The location did not disappoint, wonderful views and each cabana reasonably private and that drives our rating. The manager was modestly helpful, the breakfast rations were quite modest too! The cabana was very pleasant, good heating thank goodness; but we expected a higher level of furniture and fittings. We wer sorry not to have met the owners who helped us with the booking.
We stayed in the Cabanas in Quetruhe for three weeks this past December. The service was terrific, the cabins were spacious and comfortable. Sarah was amazing and super helpful with any one of our questions or requests. We were able to cook in our kitchen every day and the kids loved swimming in the pool. Breakfast was delivered each morning to our villa and was simple, fresh and terrific. It was by far our best stay i all of Argentina. Thank you so much.
Second time here and both times were exceptional. Cabins are wonderful, "homey", places...well laid out, lots of room and great views. Fireplace in living rooms makes for wonderful gathering area. The whole area was heavily damaged by 2011 volcano ash,but this place has done huge work to overcome that and it shows very well when compared to other hotels/ places in town The owners are very special, engaging and caring people who gave up banking careers in BA to run this wonderful place. Breakfast delivered to your door is high end and tasty. Place is spotlessly clean. Grounds are well kept; albeit on a very steep setting...but what a view! Enjoy it!
I was sooo glad we chose the Quetrihue out of so many other options in Villa La Angostura. We had an amazing Cabana (fire-place, full kitchen, jacuzzi, etc) with stunning views from the lake and the mountains. The owners are SUPER friendly and will help you with everything you need. I'm already dreaming with the next visit!
