Small hotel out of town - definitely get a map and good directions. Room was quaint, bathroom basic, first floor of hotel was stylish area for all guests to lounge, including lovely pool area. Breakfast was quite tasty with homemade breads and jams.

This hosteria is located 6km out of town making a car essential if you want to stay here. The final kilometer is on a gravel road and the final approach to the hosteria itself is on a steep rough gravel road which would not be suitable for nervous drivers. The building of timber construction is very impressive. There are 7 rooms with 5 have a lovely mountain view. Some also have good balconies but it is not possible to make any use of these as no seating is provided. Matress on the beds felt fairly worn and uneven and needed replacing. Downstairs there is lots of comfortable seating and overall the ambiance of the place is quite impressive but to us it seemed a little soulless. Allied to this is the attitude of the staff who 'did the job' but were certainly not welcoming or particularly helpful. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Lots of culinary niceties including lemon flavoured scones and tasty cup cakes and several different jams but lacking in practicality. No museli, only some sort of sugar coated cereal and the only juice available (brought to the Table) was freshly squeezed orange was served in tiny glasses with no offer of a refill. When we tried to pay our bill on our final morning at 9.30am, we were told that we would need to wait because the owner wasn't around for another 15 - 20 minutes, which delayed our departure. Overall, we would not stay here again on a repeat visit.

We were received with open arms and attended to in a homely manner. Most rooms have an excellent view over the snow-capped mountains. Rooms are sizable and comfortable. Lovely wooden style building which is very neat and clean.

We (my wife and I) went there on Marth 28th and stayed for 5 days. We took one of the rooms with balcony, which was great. The place is very nice. Located on the top of a hill, where you enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains from either your own room or the restaurant. They have only 7 rooms, which to our taste is great. The common areas are well decorated and wide. The place is run from one of their owners, which resulted all the time very gentle and well disposed to help and give advise. Important tip: even though it is supposed to be a hotel without restaurant, they offer dinner on demand at the place where they serve the breakfast (one single three-steps menu per day). It is worth to highlight the quality of the chef working there. Really amazing for such a small place. A must, if you happen to stay there. We would definitively come back again.

Nothing bad to say about this place, the rooms, the lobby, terrace, food and service are top level. Perfect place to relax and a great startpoint to all the attractions that this area has to offer, we felt like in a second home in the middle of our holidays, will definetly recommend and go back if I'm around San Martin, which I really look forward to do soon!
