Very nice! So helpful and welcoming staff, took time to take care of us when we arrived. We also were able to use the spaces day after checkout so that we could take a shower before heading on with our travels. Highly recommended!

It has been 14 years since I stayed at La Tosca for the first time. I still keep coming back two or three times every year. I guess this tells you everything. It is quite, clean, friendly and the breakfast is amazing.

This is an excellent hostel. Everything is clean. The bathrooms have soap and a towel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is continental with home made pie, yogurt, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, corn flakes, orange juice. The beds were comfy - we were in the small sailors room with 2 bunk beds. I liked that there was...

The best hostel we have been at in Argentina. Wifi works good at the room, hot water in shower 24/7, staff very friendly and helpful. You can arrange tours with the hostel. Near the bus terminal, city centre and the beach. Highly recommend.

The rooms and bathrooms are very basic. The garden with hammocks and barbecue is cosy. There is a laidback dining room with sofas. Breakfast is cake and more cake. Nice, but after a few days you might want something else.

It has a nice and green garden with a very relaxing hammock. When I was there they were building some more rooms at the front but was never disturbed by the builders. Breakfast was delicious and served with a big variety of home-made cakes. Wi-fi was very fast!

Small, clean rooms, bath shared with one further room only, o.k. beds. Nice courtyard . Luggage storage plus a public shower should your onward bus leave in the evening. City, supermarkets bus terminal and atlantic beach all in walking distance. Very friendly staff - at that point we were out for three months and had seen many, mostly very welcoming...

Hola Akkanaut! Nice to meet you, thanks a lot for your nice words! We can tell you that finally we could fix the gas pipe and all is in order again. We have our incredible showers running again and 2 kitchens with 10 different fires available to cook, so nobody have to wait ever! Thanks a lot for your time...

First I need to say that during my stay the gas wasn't working (which means no cooking and warm showers) and wifi worked but very slowly. However, I still think the hostel is really nice (taking into consideration how nice it would be if everything worked well). The hosts are so nice! Eduardo showed me around, and showed all the...

This hostel is a classic backpacker place. The team are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a big basket of cakes and sweet yoghurt that you can have with cornflakes. A glass of squash and coffee. They have a big fridge that guests are welcome to store things in and two kitchens that guests are welcome to cook...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our facilities are conceived to operate in accordance with the historical climate of the region, facing north. A protected area with a nice and sunny central garden, it’s ideal for a comfortable outdoors rest. The barbecue, in addition, proposes tasting the precious argentine meat. The social area, with a lot of natural light, has a common room, integrating a living room, a dining room and a full equipped kitchen. This is the place where you can have all the information, daily updated, to plan your journey in Madryn. It is also the ideal place to meet people from every corner of the planet and share travel experiences and promote new good moments. The double rooms are very small and simple. Basically designed for sleeping, with exceptional “La Cardeuse” mattresses, excellent unlimited hot showers, and an exhaustive cleaning every day. It is worth clarifying, that these rooms counts with privacy, but share the bathroom with another room across, showing an innovative concept in semi-private. We can offer two separate services within those facilities, private or double ones. The “double bed", which has, obviously, a double bed; or the "bunk beds", which consists of two single beds, one over the other, always in an intimate atmosphere. The Shared bedrooms consist of a big common room, with an internal bathroom, essential for Patagonian nights. The individual lockers offer a safe place to leave your things while you are enjoying your trip. The beds count with those exceptional “La Cardeuse” mattresses too. In every room, individual heaters allows you to manage the room temperature as you like. The service includes breakfast (coffee or tee, with milk, and homemade cakes), access to the internet, Wi-Fi access code. Includes also, of course, bedclothes and a hand towel. ... more   less
