Booked this hotel the night before coming to Salta and was absolutely charmed when checking in. After offering us wine as a welcome, the sweet receptionist led us up to our room, which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the service is very kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stayed 3 nights in a triple (with our 21-year old daughter). The hotel is a charming, calm oasis just a few blocks from el Centro. It's a beautiful old home. All of the staff is uniformly very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast was somewhat better than usual given our prior experience in Argentina, but not great. The coffee was... More

We traveled to Salta in may, me and my mother, and stayed on for 5 days at this hotel. We enjoyed the reception, where the attendant treated us very well and cleared all our doubts about the city. The location is excellent, can you go to the main sightseeing on foot. The accommodations where we stayed were adequate, a comfortable... More

Our room was spacious with a separate sitting area (almost a conservatory). The staff, all except one of whom could speak English were so friendly and helped us with tour bookings. The location is fantastic, only a couple of blocks from the main plaza with several excellent restaurants nearby. Breakfast was the usual Argentine affair but it was nice to... More

This place is so sweet. Firstly, the price is amazing, being so close to the central square. 10 mins walk to everything. The reception staff and family who run it are so friendly and keen to be helpful. The owner promised me we could call him "any time" and gave me his business card with several numbers to try. This B&B works in a charming old house, decorated with good taste. Evertything works fine; bedroom has air conditioning and frigobar. Bed is very comfortable, shower is good; water didn't warm up enough to use the bathtub though. Breakfast is varied (fruit, yougurt, cereal, bread, marmelade, butter, milk, coffe, tea, juice etc). Staff (Luciana, Veronica, Jerome) is really friendly and... More

We have stayed here on two separate occasions and found the staff very friendly, the location excellent (three blocks from main square), and the room was great. Be warned if hiring a car you will need to pay to park in a local car park, although that was easy and not expensive. Breakfast is average which is why I have... More

We stayed a week here whilst exploring the Andes around Salta. This is a small but nicely presented hotel and has a great location a couple of blocks from the main square, and easy walking distance from everywhere else, including the bus station. Our standard ensuite room was large and comfortable with fridge, wifi and aircon. There was a computer... More

The hotel is located very central, which is good. Furniture and rooms have seen better days, which is not so good. Interior is very antique and heavy. Of course this is to each traveller personal taste but I hate it. The mattresses on the beds are unfortunately past their expiration date as well and should be exchanged. Rooms are somber... More

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and requests multiple times, a hearty and varied breakfast is included every morning, the hotel and our room was picturesque and well kept, and the hotel is located one block from San Francisco and a couple blocks from the central square, it is an all around good deal!
