Stayed here for two nights, paying 500 pesos per night for a double. Nothing special, though had most of the facilities we needed. Bed in particular needs updating however. Pros -In a very nice neighbourhood. 5-10 minutes from city centre, 5 blocks from a Vea supermarket -Quick WiFi in communal areas. Shared computer also available, though for a lot of...

was okay to stay there just two nights. the baathroom was not clean in any way. the rooms are cleaner but really dark. in the night it is loud and many people from the streed come to the hostel for party. this is not safe. the breakfast is not good, the only thing that works is the wifi.

Everything was full, so ended up here. Overpriced double room was actually a matrimonial with extra bunkbed on room. Sheets had stains and room was not clean. No windows in room. Bathroom was smelly and not clean at all. Staff was ok, tried to be helpful, but could be better. Would not stay again and would not recommend!

I enjoyed very much the time I spent at the Hostal Quara. It was quick to get from the Airport and the place is near the major attractions of Salta. It is very important to me to stay in a place from where I can easily walk my way round the town. I would like to thank the owners for...

Good beds, but administration was terrible. Outdoor shut all the time, so you had to ring a bell to get in, which always took five minutes. Breakfast was good but took ages to get. No toilet paper at any time, so every time you wanted to go to the loo you had to ask for it. Showers missing curtains so...

Well situated hostal with friendly staff. Stayed there for 3 nights and had a good time. We spent new year's eve at the hostal and enjoyed it a lot. The bathrooms aren't clean all the time and sometimes there's no toilet paper ;) Low prices, basic breakfast, nice staff - good for backpackers who aren't expecting much comfort!

Great place for young people who don't care about comfort. The place is clean but old. Showers and toilets are in a good state. One can play pool and hang out in some kind of huge livingroom. Moreover one can book all the excursions around salta directly at the hostel. Small breakfast is included!

Woke up around midnight to a hostel staff member going through my friend's backpack with my friend's cash in his hand. Fortunately, I think I startled him and he put it back. He was also living in our room! No lockers in the rooms. He was the only staff member working at the time, but we later informed the management.

Best value in Salta! Nice place. Rooms are nice, the toilets are clean and the staff is really friendly. The hostel is in the city center, near all the attractions, bars and bus stop. If you get to Salta and they approach you when you get off the bus... Don't hesitate! It is the best place you can go!
