We stayed here, and also in the sister hotel in Buenos Aires and both are classy, tranquil boutique hotels. The entrance is modest and the room numbers small but every (named) room is unique and thoughtfully decorated with a strong local feel. The communal areas have lots of relaxed seating, reading and room for breakfast. The hotel is 10 mins... More

The Entrance is rather unassuming, a small Entrance door off the Road and a rather dark passage to get into Reception. Once inside you discover the charm and the gorgeous aesthetics of the interiors. A gorgeous Living Room / Library, very Gaucho style with leather sofas , beautiful sepia prints on the wall, decorative objects and ornaments from the Region.... More

When we pulled up with our hire car, it was such a surprise to walk into this small, intimate hotel and see its stylish and beautifully decorated rooms. The hotel was not far from the main square, across the road from a petrol station, had free parking (in a locked garage around the corner), free wifi, a large bath to... More

We fell in love with this hotel the minute we stepped in the door. We needed visas for Bolivia and Rodrigo went above and beyond to help us figure out the requirements and get what we needed. He also helped me make a reservation for my husband's birthday at a great restaurant. When we came back from dinner there was... More

We were fortunate enough to stay at Legado Mitico on three separate occasions between May 9 and 16. Everything was perfect: the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the perfect taste and sense of luxury of the decoration of the room as well as the three "ensuite" lounges. The inner patio is a perfect place to read, the balcony overlooking... More

The hotel is wonderful! A wonderfully stylish, beautifully accessorised rooms and public areas, with caring very hands-on people to look after you and your every need. Each room is named and decorated in the style of a historical or local personality and through this I learnt a lot about "El Caudillo" whose Room has a wonderful balcony over looking a... More

This is a wonderful small hotel in an excellent location. Our room was very large and quiet with a small courtyard and well decorated. The bathroom was lovely as well. The breakfast was excellent. All together a great place to stay. We stayed at the sister hotel in Buenos Aires and both were excellent choices.

We chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. It is well located close to the center of town. The entrance is nondescript and essentially a hole in the wall, but it opens into what used to be an expansive mansion. While the reception is small (a sit down desk with two chairs in front of... We had a quiet and beautiful room on the first floor with a private patio. We requested a cot for a 3rd person and they out a real twin bed (vs a cot) in the room prior to arrival so it was very comfortable for three of us. Walking distance to everything. Good breakfast in the am but the eggs... More

This hotel is a delight. Room was large & squeaky clean with newly reno'd upgraded bathroom stocked with thoughtful amenities. Decorated beautifully with local art, furniture and finishings. Helpful staff. Located near main square. Common areas have a welcoming ambience. We stayed at the Legato Mitico in Salta in April, 2016. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.
