This is a ''boutique'' hotel, situated some 6 blocks from the main square. The rooms are very quaint, clean and comfortable, also quiet at night, despite being on a reasonably busy road. The swimming pool at the rear with a substantial garden area with loungers, seats etc is a real bonus. Nice to come back to after a busy day....

Good clean rooms, good breakfast, good garden. Has a pool. Well located for restaurants. Good wifi, friendly staff. We left our luggage while we did our tour. Very quiet while being centrally located.

We had the two-bedroom unit on the ground level by the pool. The furniture suited the style of the building—old and hacienda-like—and the rooms were comfortable and “homey.” We noticed a closed-in smell when we entered; however, we opened the windows and that quickly disappeared. The breakfast was fine and served in a sunny breakfast room. The staff was helpful...

Lovely clean comfortable place, simple buffet breakfast included. But there is hardly hot water, I have to take a mildly warm shower. If you don't hurry up, the water turned cold again. It's three block from the 9 de Julio plaza, 6 blocks from Plaza St Martin. Staffs speaks English and courteous.

Dear TangueraNewJersey, First of all, many thanks for choosing us for your stay in Salta. We are glad to know you enjoyed your stay despite the problem you've mentioned with the water. We would like to explain that we had a problem with the boiler one day. Although we tried to fix it as soon as possible (and we made...

The front isn't as attractive as it really is inside, we came in after searching (from trip advisor) for the perfect place to stay for the night and have A breakfast in the morning, besides, it was raining and getting dark when we arrived, so we took the first hotel around the center that has available room. Happened to be...

I liked especially the location is close to everything important in the city. The parking lot is next to the hotel included. A very quiet hotel. It is quite old and it shows that you need to fix it. The reception is very ugly. Full breakfast with a variety of products. But not return to that hotel.

Smallish hotel about 3 blocks from the Plaza 9 de Julio. Quiet, friendly in my experience (we spoke Spanish), and quite stylish. The breakfast was fine, if nothing fancy, and the room was also nicely appointed if not huge. Good shower. The best bit was the peaceful garden and swimming pool reached from the breakfast room. There was never anyone...

We have stayed at La Candela many times and it has always been adequate. However, on our recent stay the state of the room was appalling. In addition to a broken air conditioner, there was mold all over the bathroom wall and ceiling. As I am high allergic to mold, this was a big problem. The front desk clerk was...

Good location a few blocks to the central Plaza, smiling front desk. The room was quite pleasant, not very large but comfortable. Good bathroom. Free and convenient parking lot. Dear Guest, We appreciate your comments and We are glad to know you felt comfortable in our hotel. Just to clarify, the minibar service is in charge of a third party company. We stayed here for 4 nights, and found it was nice atmosphere and a comfortable, if very small, room. (Beds separated by about 30 cm - we queried whether our room was the 'small twin' as opposed to the standard room that we paid for, and were assured it was a standard room). Breakfast was nice and in a pleasant...
