Our stay at the Delta hotel this week was great. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was warm. What made our trip better from the first day to the last was a team member named Shi’loh. When we first arrived she helped to quick resolve an issue we were having with our digital key. She was professional and competent - those things are expected. What made her memorable was that she was spunky, fun, and genuine. Every time we saw Shi’loh she was upbeat and cheerful. She is the type of team member who will go far because she has the “it” factor. Thank you for everything!

Haven’t finished our stay yet, but so far not impressed. Needed to have our room serviced after a couple of days since they don’t put much in the rooms, ie 2 mini bars of soap. When we went out for the day at 11:45 am, we asked Carmen at the front desk ( I think that washer name ), to please make sure our room got serviced while we were gone. She assured us she would notify housekeeping and take care of it. When we returned to our room at 10 pm, we were so disappointed to see our room hadn’t been touched. What was most disappointing was when we told Carmen that our room hadn’t been serviced as she had promised. “Yeah, they were pretty busy yesterday”. No apology, just kind of a matter of fact. Hard to believe as the hotel doesn’t even appear to be at half capacity, so not sure where that excuse came from. Their restaurant isn’t open, so if you want any food the kitchen wii prepare a limited menu for you “to go”. The rooms are pleasant looking, but not very functional. Only one drawer to use for your clothes, so don’t plan on unloading your luggage. The TP holders are the worst. Plan on holding the roll in your hand each time you use it. Poor design or utilization…or both. Having said all that, the pool area is quite nice and well kept, as are the rest of the grounds. The clerk at check in was pleasant and she was very accommodating. I may change my rating by the time we checkout, but will have to see improvements in service and attitude.

Hotel was clean and nice. Torin, desk night manager(?) Ride and dismissive Left me standing after he helped a prior customer. Didn’t acknowledge me. Finally said “do you need something” while he was still typing on computer and not looking up at me… Yes I do. I need aReplacement key for my room please. Still ignoring me… He said “someone else will have to help you. Im not finished. Pointing to young nice girl working next to him. Dismisses me and ignores. WOW. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Young nice girl helps me and I’m on my way. Why would you work in customer relations if you have no customer relations skills?? Shot handed on skilled workers is definitely showing

Thank you so much for sending in your review and I apologize for the issues that you described from your stay. This is certainly not the service we typically provide nor how we want to be remembered. I am glad that another member of the front desk team was able to assist you in a more cordial manner. Once again, I hope that you will treat this as an isolated incident and give us another opportunity to host you during a visit to Mesa. Sincerely, Janet Hof, General Manager

Hotel is very clean, well kept and quiet. Beds were very comfortable , plenty of hot water, and easy to control ac. Only drawbacks were that housekeeping was by request only. Rooms weren't cleaned or towels replaced unless you ask. The 2nd issue was the TV. You have to program it through your own phone. Not only was that annoying, but the TV kept shutting down and you weren't able to get it to work consistently. But hotelwas nice enough to warrant a reyurn.

I recently arrived on a Thursday for a four night stay. Parking and checkin were fast and efficient. As a Marriott platinum member I received a nice room upgrade and the option of a free breakfast in the lobby area. The first night was quiet and uneventful and I had access to the very nice panty area on the 12th floor. By Friday afternoon it felt like I was in an entirely different hotel. A tattoo artist convention was checking in as was large group of high school age baseball players. Oddly the panty closed for the weekend when the hotel appeared full. When I returned from dinner that night parking was close to impossible and the noise factor had increased ten fold with people running in the hallways banging on doors. Masking all but disappeared and people were smoking in almost every area of the hotel including the room adjacent to mine. By Sunday night much reverted to calm Marriott property I had expected. I should note that all of the staff we encountered were outstanding. The location of the hotel is ideal for Mesa area. It was just a short walk to the light rail into Phoenix some very good restaurants were in walking distance.

Dear Florida-Traveler-888, Thank you for the detailed review of your stay. We do apologize that you were disrupted over the busy weekend. None of our standards for maintaining a noise free zone, wearing masks, and smoking only in designated areas should have not spilled into the weekend of your stay. We appreciate you kind words about the staff and our location. Mesa is steadily growing and many new restaurants are already just a few steps away. We hope your travels will bring you back soon! All the best, Janet Hof, General Manager
