This hotel was a wonderful surprise! I came to town to visit family and was overwhelmed by the choice of hotels in the area. I'm so glad I picked this hotel! The rooms are large and new and well-appointed, with plenty of space. I got a King room and there was also a very large desk/working area (which was good because I had to work today), as well as an ample couch. There were even two complimentary bottles of water in the room waiting for me! A big pet peeve of mine is hotels that don't have full length mirrors, and bathrooms that make it hard to put on makeup. This hotel checks both boxes! There's a full length mirror on the closet door, and great lighting in the bathroom, as well as a separate portable makeup/magnifying mirror. There's also a lovely courtyard with a pool and jacuzzi and a bunch of sitting areas, though it's Arizona so I don't know who would just want to sit outside in this heat but hey that's my thin Northern California blood talking. The area is incredibly safe/quiet and I slept extremely well with no noise from outside at all. The gym is impressively sized for a hotel gym, with tons of equipment, dumbbells, etc. and there's a guest self-serve laundry room, too! The staff that I interacted with were all very friendly as well, and there's a well-equipped pantry/essentials shop by the front desk. All in all, I was very impressed, and would definitely come back if I am ever in the area again!

My room was on the 11th floor, a fantastic view. The bed was excellent, slept very well. The customer service was outstanding, from Natalia, Shi'loh and Mckelle, they make me want to return and tell family and friends

The hotel staff is beyond help and accommodating. I have never stayed a hotel when hospitality was embraced to the fullest ability. The front front desk agents and manager are all so welcoming and made my stay one of the best. Thank you so much for allowing me and my family to stay at your wonderfully property. The is one of the best Marriott properties I've been at. Highly recommend 100/10!

TLDR: I made a confirmed, nonrefundable reservation for a room with 2 queen beds (and 4 people) more than a month before my arrival date. Delta Hotels Marriott failed to meet their obligations by providing a room with only 1 queen bed (and no sleeper sofa) and did not even make an effort to find equivalent accommodations, including not offering me a room with a sleeper sofa or even offering to relocate me to another sister hotel sufficiently, even though it was their mistake. I resorted to using Chase Sapphire Travel to relocate me to suitable accommodations. Delta Hotel staff was apathetic and inept, and the manager should be replace. The longer story: I made a reservation more than 5 weeks before the this weekend for an event in Mesa for a room with two queen beds for 3 adults and 1 teenager. This was a confirmed, nonrefundable reservation through Chase Sapphire Travel. When I arrived and checked the room, I discovered that there was only 1 queen bed. I let the staff and the supervisor know that this room was not what was reserved and certainly inadequate. The staff said they were fully booked but there was a queen sofa in the room that I could use. I let them know there was not one (the staff don't even know their own rooms). I said that they could provide me with another room that had 1 queen bed as an alternative, and the one of the staff said, "So, you want two rooms for the price of one?". At which, I responded, "I only got 1/2 of a room that I reserved for the price of one. So, yes." The Delta Hotel Marriot supervisor told me that they could try to find a room at another Marriott location (only after I suggested this option) but that they would charge me the price difference at another hotel if the price was greater, or they could give me a refund. At which point, I decided to call Chase Sapphire Travel, which ultimately helped me find appropriate accommodations (see below). During my three-hour phone conversation with Chase Sapphire Travel and discussions with Delta Hotel staff, the Delta hotel staff said two big lies. First lie: they said that they could bump any reservation through a third-party site due as stated on their reservation policies I received at confirmation. I told Chase Travel that and after reading their copy of the policy, they confirmed this was not in any policy and was a lie. When I informed the supervisor about this discrepancy, he said that it was actually in the contract between businesses. Second lie: they said I could ask for rollaway beds, and when I later asked for two, the supervisor said they couldn't since it was a fire code issue. When I told one of the staff that this would mean one of my party would be sleeping on the floor if we stayed in this room, she said two people could fit on the rollaway bed, which if you've ever seen a twin bed, two people cannot sleep on their rollaway beds. As a final attempt at trying to accommodate their mistake, the supervisor offered me free breakfasts and access to their "exclusive" pantry, both of which are a joke and did nothing to solve the issue of my family's sleeping arrangements. I finally resorted to having Chase Sapphire Travel find me better accommodations at a Hyatt. Let me just make a final comment about the Delta Hotel staff. On that day, the Chase Sapphire Travel help desk staff member called the Delta Hotel Marriot to facilitate discussions for alternative accommodations, and at one point, the Chase representative let me know that the Delta hotel supervisor said he was working on it. I was sitting in the lobby while I was talking to her (and the staff knew this), and I let her know that the supervisor was just relaxing and joking around with one of the female staff who was just checking the register -- he was certainly not "working hard", more like "hardly working". Then, the entire front desk staff and the staff from the bar across the lobby were joking around and trying to see who could jump and touch the ceiling. The Delta Hotel front desktop staff clearly wasn't taking their jobs seriously that day when guests had accommodation issues at hand. When I asked for the Delta Hotel manager's name, I was given the card of the "Front Office Manager", I. Nammari. I left a message for this person, but I still haven't received a call back from the supposed Delta Hotel Front Office Manager. I also haven't yet received a refund. I recommend staying away from the Delta Marriot hotel at all costs. If Marriot corporate is reading this, you should fire everyone who worked on the frontdesk staff on that day (April 30, 2022), including the "Front Office Manager", for giving their brand a bad name.

When you stay at a hotel the employees can make your day or leave you feeling crabby or unheard. I had the wonderful luck of meeting Jordan at the concierge desk both mornings we stayed here. ☺️ Despite the early morning hour, she was friendly, smiling and happy to help me with a couple of questions. I was trying to watch my daughter’s National Collegiate Championship in Orlando, Florida on the guest computers. She was so helpful trying to find someone to help me but then trying herself! This morning when I came to check out, she remembered me and asked about the results of the competition. She was genuinely interested and excited to learn about my daughter’s Championship win. I worked in HR for many years and Jordan is the kind of person and employee you wish you could clone! Lucky you to have her working at the Delta! I hope she is rewarded for her fantastic customer service and making my trip a happy one while staying at your hotel! Now, I did NOT give 5 stars because Saturday night at 9:30 PM, while we were trying to go to sleep, there was a groundskeeper using a leaf blower by the pool outside our room!!! Why??? Completely unacceptable!!!

Checked in with my mother and older aunties for a pleasure trip for them to visit their 88 year old sister in law. Shiloh was at reception and took such above and beyond exceptional care of us, from our room to hospitality. Not a pleasant experience via phone requesting early check in with rude, angry, unwilling to provide details front desk manager Ehab. He hangs up on guests!!! I have a cold and gruff voice that's all. It was planned to be a wonderful last weekend before my son deploys on Monday. He graduated, had birthday, and enlisted all in one week. This single mom raised him alone and I wanted to spend our last weekend together. This hotel wasn't willing to do anything... it's really sad. The girl at front deserves a raise as she was sweet. Janet accommodated an early checkin. BUT not til after Ehab upset me with his non empathy and rude tone of voice. He needs to learn how to treat people especially veterans and moms sending their only son's off to serve this country when no one seems to care!! 3 star at best. I wish I could have enjoyed the pool... after this incident with poor service by Ehab my blood pressure took over. We won't stay here ever again. WAY over priced for what you get. Bring air freshener cause it stinks!!

I stayed at the Delta on a trip to Phoenix to see the Grand Canyon. The hotel was nice and the front desk staff, especially Shiloh, went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. My flight was delayed until 12:30 a.m. and Shiloh was very hospitable,making me feel welcome while I waited.
