Fabulous cosy place to stay, with the feel of the Old West (okay I'm English, so everything delighted me). I particularly love the skunk running around the porch, but others might not be so keen! It's a great place for a walk down to the river at dawn, I also got a great welcome and "dinner" in front of a...

This is truly a gorgeous ranch, with unexpected beauty all around you. The cliffs, the saguaros, the vast, lush lawns, and a nice, clean pool in the center of it all- you really can lose yourself in its serenity and beauty. The staff seemed nice, the breakfast was really good (but don't show up before 9am). There are no irons...

We booked a kayak tour here and turns out it is more like a glorified kayak rental. The river in its first part is very beautifull big rock formations by the river, birds and fireflies. But once you cross the first bridge like 30 min into the trip, there is a landing place where many college students go tubbing drinking...

I did the 4 hour Granite Reef paddle. I've done this paddle with them many times, just haven't yet reviewed them here. But on monday had such an epic trip I had to write! The Granite Reef trip is about 4 hours, depending on your own exuberance. I do this trip to relax and unwind, so am not pushing at...

Such a special trip for my sister's 40th and it was truly the staff that are the heart and soul of this super special place. They are the Ritz Carlton of customer service only desert country style. Every single person takes a genuine interest in your stay right down to the guy who picks you up at the end of...

We did not come here for an overnight stay, but rather to use their kayaking services. We did the two hour kayak trip and were extremely impressed! Our group arrived late and the staff seamlessly had us join a group that was coming next without any complaints. The girl in the office was so polite and the man who gave...

Be sure to review what is best to bring and wear while out on the lake. Enjoy a nice calm ride down the lake. While enjoying the...

Awesome staff. Great interaction and time on the Salt River. 2 1/2 hours on the kayak and we traveled about 4 miles. Easy set in at the Guest Ranch and they transported us back from the let out point. Staff was very friendly and helped with our lunch as well.

I learned about SLR on Facebook otherwise I had no idea you existed. I was happy to plan a kayak trip on the river with my family. We chose the 2-hour trip. Online reservation site was easy to use. The reminder email was helpful. The experience exceeded my expectations. The staff was nice. The equipment was in good shape. The...
