While on a driving trip, my better half and I spent one night at this property. Our room was clean, pet-friendly, and recently remodeled; nevertheless, I'm not sure I'd stay again. The hotel was full of seriously sketchy people, water pressure was nil, and the "heat" setting on our HVAC system was a lost cause -- the thing only blew cold air. All in all, this Red Roof Inn was a bit of a disappointment.

I stayed here for a night prior to flying out of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway. I choose it because it was cheap and I wasn't looking for anything fancy. They agreed to a late checkout which I was grateful for. Staff during check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The room was satisfactory. The bed was big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was much to be desired. Seemed outdated and frankly a bit dirty but it wasn't horrendous. Not very much water pressure but still usable. The room had a fridge and microwave which was nice. I'd recommend it for an over night stay.

It was in a quiet place, not surrounded by a large amount of hotels and a highway. As I entered the room I noticed the new granite and fresh paint. A shock compared to other lower priced motels. The staff was most appreciative as the new light rail had hampered their business, stay there good price and centrally located for the business I was conducting in the area.

I use to stay at Red Roof Inns many year ago then their quality became really bad. This year I had the occasion to stay at one of their inns in Ohio and was very pleasantly surprised. Mentioned this to the person at the desk and he informed me that Red Roof Inns was revamping their image and remodeling their Inns. With this knowledge my wife and I optioned to stay at the Red Roof Inn in Mesa and were not disappointed. Don't let the out side appearance or the road construction deter you, the rooms have been modernized, very pleasant and clean. I would stay there again given the opportunity.
