If I could give a negative rating I would. I just got off the phone and heard that the cheating manager will not give me a full refund. I had a three night stay booked at this hotel. The first night was ok. The hotel is old, and has not been refurbished for years, but you get what you pay for. On the second night, the adjacent restaurant/bar was rented for a party that went on for hours. It was incredibly loud. My room sounded like it was on the dance floor. I should have just called the cops, but the person at the front desk told me I could leave the hotel, find another room and not get charged for the night. After much effort to get another room, I left at about 11:30. The next day, Booking.com confirmed the cancellation and was told that they were still going to charge me for the full night. The manager agreed to charge me 1/2 the night, which is not what I was told the night before. I get having a cheap run-down hotel, and there is a place in the market for it. Just don't be dishonest.

I was here years ago for a family event. It was wonderful, clean, and great. Not so much now. I went there because I had to come to AZ due to a death in the family. At $133 it was the cheapest of the reasonable hotels available. The place is a mess. Carpet in the room is stained and old, coming up in the middle of the floor. Towels and linens were probably obtained from Goodwill. No ice machines. The pool and hot tub are filthy. The free breakfast is toast and cereal. I went to the lobby to try to find an ice machine and the man behind the counter was sleeping so restfully I didn't have the heart to wake him. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

After Checking the reviews for this hotel on this site all positive reviews were posted in one month all the accounts were created in the same month. Probably affiliated with the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in my life this was probably the worst. The staff were nice, and I didn’t have any issues while checking in or out. The lobby was dirty and was not cleaned once during our three-night stay. I know this because there were small bits of trash I noticed that were still there when I checked out. The rooms were run down. Family members stayed in another room, the following was true for all three rooms. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and even clean. The counters and mirrors in the bathrooms were clean. That is where clean ends. The carpet was dirty and stained in many places. Corners were dirty in the rooms and bathrooms. The rooms smelled either of mildew or chemical air freshener. The rooms were dark and the lighting bad. The walkways downstairs facing the street were painted and kind of clean. The rest of the walkways had not been repainted in some time and were very dirty. You could see places where people put out cigarettes and spilled drinks that had not been cleaned up. They were very dusty and grimy. Which you track right into the rooms. The entire courtyard including the pool are run down, the pool and pool deck weren't clean. Some chairs and tables on their side or flipped upside down. The free breakfast was not appetizing.

Just a reminder of why you should never use Expedia to book your room. In what crack world is the roach motel a three star rating? The “non-smoking” room stank of cigarettes and bug spray. The carpet was filthy, the towels were dirty and the sink had food chunks in it. There is no mention on expedia of exterior corridors. I was too afraid to sleep, I put my clothing on top of the pillow case because I was afraid to put my face on the pillow. Arrived at 10:00pm, too late to find a room elsewhere in an almost entirely sold out city. Lesson learned 😩
