I will start off by saying that it is really hard to give a hotel a bad review in the current Covid-19 climate. Nevertheless the Hilton Mesa should be avoided epidemic or not. Just a side note to anyone thinking of staying here-the only thing this hotel can offer you is a room. They will not clean the room, change the towels or empty the trash until you depart. When we checked in we were told they have no services in the hotel, bar and restaurant are closed but "there's a ton of stuff nearby." And shame on Hilton corporate for not having anything about that on their website. We were really tired and had to turn around and go out looking for food. But it's really the room that is the atrocity for this place. It has definitely seen better days. The tub leaked all over the floor. It was moldy and rusty. There were two french doors that didn't close at the bottom and a breeze blew in constantly. Spiderwebs were in the corner of the room. And then there was the flying insect infestation. There were 2 dead bugs on the desk in the room and several more flying around. I killed 3 in the space of 2 minutes. When I went down to the front desk I was told that there was really nothing they could do because the golf course next door "must be irrigating and when that happens the bugs fly around and get in and we don't have an engineer on call to come up and look and do anything about it." When I asked about another room I was told it wouldn't matter because if they were in my room, they were in all the rooms. So we were stuck there with these bugs whizzing by us. It was terrible. And the way it was handled I thought was even worse. Just really don't stay here. There are several other chain hotels right down the road from this one. And maybe they're far enough from the golf course not to have to worry about the bugs getting upset when it's irrigated and flying in to your room.

Thank you for taking time to review our hotel. I appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to respond. With regards to the cleaning of the room, this is a Hilton directive during the pandemic as we are doing our best to keep our team members safe and stop the spread of the pandemic. The bar and restaurant are still closed as the lack of occupancy during the pandemic does not make sense from a profitability standpoint to keep it open. We hope to continue to gain back occupancy which would allow us to open all amenities in the hotel. We are glad to still be open as many hotels have closed their doors completely as well we have opened up the pool and fitness center. On our website there is verbiage to contact the hotel to see what amenities are still available as all hotels have different things open throughout the United States and abroad. With regards to the room, I sincerely apologize for the cleanliness and condition and the way in which it was addressed. We have already discussed this and will be making the necessary changes to continue to improve. I wish your stay would have been better and hope you will try us again in the future. Great place, baseball tourney and spring training was cancelled and the staff not only worked with us on our early departure, they also made sure all the boys had a fun experience while being cooped up in the hotel.

We stay here every up year, our son suggested this hotel as it is close to his home. It is very convenient to shopping, baseball, and other activities. I like the digital ID. The room was clean and the bar and breakfast buffet are very nice.

Hilton Mesa is beautiful. Comfortable beds and sheets. Great food in restaurant and bar. Great staff! Easy Lyft rides anywhere we needed to go. Pool is nice, but not as spacious as I had hoped. Every area was very clean
