We've been staying here every few months for a couple of years. Sometime in 2015, something changed: the same friendly front-desk people are gone, as is the nice person keeping parking area clean. The replacements are doing an OK job, but I think the owners were the ones running the place before and you can tell that the new "employees"... More

My budget allowed only for an inexpensive place to stay for 2 days while I completed some work in Mesa. I was surprised and pleased to find American Executive Inn within my budgetary restraints. Our plane arrived quite late so our arrival to the hotel was after 11pm. We rang a bell by the door and the owners were prompt,... More

I had temporary assignment in Mesa and needed an affordable place to stay for a few nights a week. The motel had a great rate but I was worried about the previous reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the staff and the size of the room. I spent 3-4 nights a week there for six weeks... More

We needed a one night stay and picked this hotel for the price. The outside looked run down and not well kept, but I didn't expect much from such a cheap hotel. Theres a locked gate over the office door and you have to ring a door bell to get in, which is kinda odd but whatever. There seemed to... More

Well I actually really like they have different rooms all of them are different from the next a few even have jacuzzis there at a lower rate and it's actually nice to have kitchenettes its really nice the only thing was very disappointing is one you cannot have visitors and in the situation that I had a cure someone following... What horrible customer service. Went there in the early afternoon Sunday. Was looking for a room & found this place. Went to the office & had to ring the door bell for 10min. Finally the clerk came answered the door but she kept me standing in heat, took 1 look at me, & with an attitude said they had no... More

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! One word, COCKROACHES! I checked in, got my key, went to the room. When I opened the door, there was a cockroach there on the floor. I travel a lot and always check the bathtub also. There were some smaller roaches and one (with no exaggeration) 2" big. I took pics, went back to... More

Only two dead roaches ! normally you would expect to see at least three or four in a classy hotel, right?? When was the last time they cleaned? i think the east side rooms might be much better than the west-side rooms, since i have stayed there before. note: why do cockroaches always turn on their backs when they die?... I stayed 2 nights. My room was clean and comfortable. Looked newly renovated. The street was a little loud so I left the fan running on the air unit which helped. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Wifi worked well. The lobby is always locked and you have to ring a door bell to be let in which is strange.... More

Our room was quite clean and appeared to have been renovated recently. Everything seemed new and updated. It was actually more than we expected for the modest price we paid. The bed was comfortable and we had no complaints. We were not wanting anything beyond the basics. We were in the area for a Spring Training baseball game and would... More
