It is a classical hotel with reasonably modern rooms. However , the restaurant was under renovation. No problem with that if the hotel could provide easy solutions. They offer included breakfast in their rate. But the cafe where the guests receive a voucher to eat was twice 150% full. I could not even enter to ask the waiting time. For a 4 stars hotel, solutions for a problem that is caused by them ought to have easy solutions. The bath tube has stains. Bad impression. I’d not stay there again
Check in was easy, fast and efficient. We had dinner at the restaurant the food was tasty and simple. The room had a jacuzzi and was clean, modern and spacious. I have to cut it to 4/5 because of breakfast: this is supposed to be a high-end boutique hotel. When we ordered coffee americano they claimed they had to charge extra because that was "the good coffee" and you need to pay extra. Also, we couldn't seat by a window, those were reserved for non-guests. WTF?? Too many rules. Hope they work on those small details. Overall very good experience.
Very dated hotel, Stayed on a sunday -mistake everything closed. Not the best area to stay. Awful breakfast. Not at all helpful staff. Room clean was only positive. You can do a lot better than this for sure. Charged fopr car park too - cheap trick.
A hotel with charm and character! I loved this hotel. The location was great very central, the amenities were fabulous (roof top pool, roof top outdoor seating in addition to the pool area, lower level pool, workout facility, 21 hr food service, delicious food at the restaurant. While there are some little things to be refreshed the building has such character I would overlook that. Only thing is technically the workout area isn't "open" until 9AM but the staff did turn on the lights at 6AM for me to use it so it wasn't a problem.
Great location, close to shopping and tourism sites. Beautiful property. Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice perk with the kosher breakfast available. Our family had a great time and a very enjoyable stay
This a an old Hotel refurbished and now it´s s very nice Boutique Hotel. it´s very quiet at night so you´ll be able to rest well. Very good breakfast, not parking on-site, but 20 metres from the main entrance. Location is perfect!
We are visiting Rosario for the rugby world championship- 8 days booked in this hotel. Incredible friendly staff and the dining room which I lived in had the best food in the area. Unfortunately one of my friends fell ill and had to transfer to a local hospital. The attention and help we got from the staff was beyond what you would expect. The general manager of the hotel ( Axel) accompanied us initially to the hospital and acted as interpreter which assisted us greatly. Notwithstanding the initial help Axel gave to us he assisted us daily at the hospital and made himself available to assist my friend. I can’t recall ever receiving such care and attention in any hotel I have stayed in. I would like to recommend this hotel and its staff to anyone coming to Rosario. Thank you everyone and in particular I want to thank Axel for making our trip memorable. ( My friend stayed 4 days in intensive care and was discharged and has traveled back to Ireland)…
We visited the Savoy for 5 days during the rugby world cup. It's a beautiful building with large airy rooms in the centre of Rosario. The restaurant is outstanding. Always busy. Remember to book. Alejandro in the bar was superb. He spoke good English, was efficient and very friendly. He really looked after his customers. Employees like him make the difference from making a good hotel an excellent hotel Reception staff were also excellent. Couldn't be more helpful So why 4 stars instead of 5? Minor points really but make a difference. I booked 2 massages which were great. Then booked reflexology. Turned up for appointment and no one there. I was offered another time however couldn't fit it in . All in all a really nice stay
I booked 3 nights at this hotel because the rooms had no iron to move nor tabua, medium service, only the breakfast was reasonable. When I made the payment on the card, they claimed that the card was not accepted because in Argentina not is accept it, I tried to make a transfer and the attendant was extremely rude to my guests who proposed to pay in cash. They paid in Real (Brazilian currency) and the attendant took an extra hour to make the money conversion. Totally unprepared.
The Savoy is the friendliest hotel (I think) in Rosario. Located in the city center and with a beautiful decor. You can hear the tango played here. Yes, it is in some details a bit outdated but who cares. The rooms are spacious (if asked for) and the rooftop pool is small and outdated as well but again who cares. The staff is friendly, the vibes are good. After many years I still like it.
