We stayed at Secret Garden for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. John Fernandes, the host, arranged for Gustavo to meet us the airport and then took us on a short guided tour of Puerto Iguazu. The place is small and the rooms well appointed in a simple way. We were welcomed with iced maté tea and homemade banana...

I stayed at the Secret Garden just last week and have been struggling with what supurlatives not to use for my stay. Utterly charming location a very brief walk from good restaurants and the 'downtown'. The garden is amazing, I sat in awe in a chair just outside my room admiring the view and the wildlife sipping a beer provided...

We recently stayed at The Secret Garden for 3 nights along with our friends. John is a charming host and the hospitality was exceptional. His staff are also lovely. He also organised all our trips to the falls for us with a local taxi firm as well as both airport transfers so we didn't have to worry about a thing....

WE stayed at Secret Garden three nights recently. The owner, John, goes out of his way to help you in any way, while running a good establishment. The rooms are rather basic but everything needed. The breakfast is wonderful with a delicious fresh fruit salad and wonderful coffee (and other things too!) John knows the area very well and can...

My husband and I stayed at The Secret Garden for 3 nights while visiting Iguazu Falls. We arrived after almost 24 hours of travel and were so glad that there was someone there to meet us at the airport. In lieu of dinner that night the caipirinhas and appetizers John served were perfect. John, our host, helped us plan our...

Bit of a homey atmosphere. Small and intimate. John is a superb host - evening cocktails, lots of stories and great advice. Definitely not your big hotel - more of an intimate B & B. His advice was great in terms of getting the most out of our trip to Iguazu Falls.

This is truly a special place to stay. The small cozy grounds are like a mini-jungle, rich with vegetation and visiting birds. Our room was spacious and clean with great a great shower. Our included breakfast was over the top with fresh fruit, homemade bread, jams, juice, fresh brewed coffee and eggs on request. The friendly and courteous staff of...

John is a superb host. He can arrange trips to the falls as well as airport pick up and drop off (from either side of the border). He has excellent local knowledge which is really useful. He also provides evening cocktails and home made nibbles free.

John was a superb host from start to finish - his evening cocktails were especially welcome! The B&B itself was faultless and felt like a home from home. We were so well looked after, Secret Garden felt like so much more than a B&B. At the end of a long trip in Argentina where we stayed in a number of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An ideal place to jump-start your visit to the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. High on concept the Secret Garden is populated by tree ferns and other shade-loving plants salvaged from the slash and burn rural and logging activities decimating the surrounding rain-forest. Our location allows you to get a feel of living in a small South American frontier town and has easy access to urban amenities. ... more   less
