Summary: We headed here for a three night stay between a trip to Antarctica and a visit to the famous Iguazu Falls. We were really looking forward to kayaking on the river and seeing the birds and wildlife, as we have done in other countries in South America and elsewhere. We ended up miserable and disappointed. I believe that there... More

Yacutinga Lodge protects some of the last remaining jungle in the Iguacu area. They emphasize sustainability. There are small separate cabins with double doors to minimize insects and en suite baths. The lodge food was very good with a breakfast buffet and some very thoughtful touches at dinner (like a special valentines dessert). The kayak float down the river was... More

This was an amazing place to explore the rainforest. The guides were brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms were great given you are in the middle of the rainforest, no bites at night, but you'll have to get used to the bites during the day. The food is included in the rate and is excellent, they use fresh local... More

We arrived in a thunderstorm and a power cut, our first thoughts were not positive. However the next day the power was restored and the sun came out. Things looked up. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, all of them. The food for all meals is beautifully cooked and presented. The kayak trip on the river was amazing. We... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights here and are really pleased with the experience. On this trip of 2 weeks ,we spent time in BA,Patagonia and Iguazu. Our intention was to also go to Mendoza, however, because it added another 4 flights to our already 5 internal flights ,we reconsidered and opted for Yacutinga for 2 nights and then Iguazu Falls... Yacutinga lodge is 2 hours away from the amazing Iguazu Falls. They pick you up from a meeting place in Puerto Iguazu. Allready at the ride to Yacutinga you can see and feel the beauty of this area and nature. Arrived at Yacutinga the staff gives you a very warm and hearty welcome. This curious eco hotel in the heart... More

We stayed at the Yacutinga lodge for 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot, mostly because our guides were so excellent (Nestor and Ricardo) Lots of good hikes in the jungle, they always had interesting things to show us, and we found lots of cool things. Not so much large animals, but nice birds, and crazy bugs like those weird... More

We had a Nice 2,5 day trip to the lodge. Left foz do iguazu for a two hour drive to the lodge. They only have limited space for a maximum of 30 guests, since it was low season we were there with only 6 guests. Dinner and lunch there is very good considering the fact that you are in quite... More

A wonderful place, in the middle of the rainforest where you stay living next to all the wild animals you can think of. There will be noises, animals and flowers you never knew existed before you come here. It still has a pool, a great restaurant, electricity and even comfortable beds to sleep in. Truly a once in a lifetime... More

Nested in the Interior Atlantic Rainforest this is the first and unique jungle lodge of Argentina. Sustainable tourism. Eco oriented tours within the exclusive Yacutinga's Private Nature Reserve. 80 kilometres away from the fantastic Iguazu Falls and its massive tourism. This Lodge has been built JUST FOR NATURE LOVERS. Native meals, ecotours conducted by ecologist & biologist, 20 rooms and 1 suite with a very intense contact with the Jungle atmosphere. A list of over 570 species of diurnal butterflies, more than 320 species of bird listed. Do not expect to observe plenty of mammals, our ecosystem doesn't allow this kind of gift. Expect for capuchin monkeys, coaties, hundred of butterflies , over 40 to 60 bird species in two days of ecoactivities. There other mammals that sometimes show up. Remember this is not a Zoo, everybody is free here... Including us. We do not offer a luxury accommodation. We offer equilibrium. Thank you for your attention.
