Omg air conditioning!!!! The pool was also wonderful. I had to spend 4 days in town waiting on a visa so these were god sends. Breakfast is minimal but okay to start the day. Bathrooms tend to get messy as the day goes on. Everything works though which is great when I heard so many complaints about other hostels in...

Ok place on good location with nice garden and swimming pool. With just a little bit more love you could make so much more out of it. It's a bit noisy (probably even worse on ground floor), not super clean and there is just no love/effort put into the rooms. It's sufficient but no night lamp next to the bed,...

I stayed here for two nights while I was in town to visit the falls. El Guembe had a great central location that was close to the bus station as well as good restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The outdoor area was very inviting and I enjoyed my time sitting out by the pool-especially in...

The hostel is very good. Our room was really big, with 2 bunk beds and 1 double bed. The mattress was comfortable and the wifi signal is very good. The breakfast was not so fancy but was great, specially because of the delicious dulce de leche. The hostel is near the bus station, so it was really easy to go...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a trip to Iguazu Falls (which are amazing!). We had a double room on the ground floor just off the kitchen. The room was fine, clean and had hot water showers - a bit rough around the edges but that's fine. The hammocks outside were great to relax on and the wifi was...

The staff at this hostel where so super friendly and helpful!! Also clean and tidy. Good things super close to the bus stops to get to the falls! A 20 minute walk to get into the main town but that is fine or you can catch the bus which again stops about 100mtrs from the hostel. The breakfast looked fine,...

Hostel that will do if you only need a place to stay for a night or two. Beds are small, madras is worn and rooms are crammed -- but it works. Shower had nice warm water. The breakfast is just toast and juice, so I suggest keeping some snacks in your room. Staff was friendly enough, wifi worked.

Helpful front desk staff, WiFi that worked most of the time, reasonably clean private room (can't comment on the dorms, which we did not enter), well-equipped and spacious kitchen, space to dry your laundry, and lots of hammocks and poolside tables to chill out at all hours. Our stay gave us three nights of reasonably comfortable rest; mattresses were decent...

The shared bathroom had no lock...

I first went to Poramba Hostel two streets away - there were many international young backpackers there. I changed to this one after Poramba doubled their prices over 3 days and this hostel did not. Well done. This hostel has a great kitchen, spacious, properly functioning, facilitated and clean. Better and moreover cheaper than Poramba. In comparison to Poramba, less...
