Great location in the jungle just outside of town. Quiet at night. Nice facility and good layout. It is integrated into the environment quite well. Food at the restaurant is good and not overpriced, similar to what you will find in town. Service was a little slow, but friendly staff.

Having read the reviews which were a little mixed, we were very pleasantly surprised. You are definitely in a jungle but with class and comfort. The location is a short walk 15-20 to the main road and you can catch a bus or take a taxi it's fairly reasonable into town or to the Argentina side falls. The breakfast was...

Great resort well nested in the jungle with an eco-friendly approach. The personnel is very attentive and responsible and fluent in English. Rooms are large and have a big balcony. The restaurant is also excellent.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The service was good. the room we had was what they called a suite. It was larger than a regular room. What we liked most about the room was the enclosed patio, with a hammock to lie on and enjoy the sounds of the forest. The Breakfast was very nice but being able...

My wife and I absolutely loved the Cantera Jungle Lodge. It looks very basic when you first see it but the lodges are very spacious spotlessly clean and far more luxurious than other lodges we have stayed in. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and are a credit to Cantera lodge. We stayed here 3 days and ate in...

When booking this hotel you have to have the frame of mind that it is an Eco-Lodge and not the Ritz, with that frame of mind its 5-Star in my opinion. No granite here but definitely in touch with nature...immersed in nature. The jungle comes right up to the pool, the lodge, and your room. The sounds around you are...

Serviceable hotel - nice outdoor areas and swimming pools, and helpful front desk. Rooms truly basic - pictures much better than the reality, but clean. One big plus - dinner surprisingly good, with excellent fish and pretty good meat dishes. And a cute cat who wanders around. The minuses - extensive but pretty poor breakfast, and expensive drinks. We were...

My husband and I stayed here in August 2015 for 1 night to visit the Argentina side of Iguazu Falls. The hotel was decent just for 1 night but pricey ($160 Cdn per night). The was spacious and bathroom was decent. I couldn't help but be a little freaked out of creepy crawling bugs coming into room as the hotel...

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a long weekend at La Cantera Jungle Lodge. We were seriously impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - literally every person we encountered was great.
