Nice functional cabin for the family. Cozy and comfortable. If you look for a nice place, it's good, but if you look for top-of-the-line luxury, this might not be what you're looking for. Excellent staff, super friendly and attentive to you every need. Would definitely stay again. I've read reviews that not sure why but they absolutely differ from my...

I think these cabanas were built in 1950 and they have NEVER NEVER been refurbished since. Our cabana had a hole in the wall where the rain came in. The furniture was very old and all the fabrics, curtains, towels etc were marked and worn. The sheet for the bed was not big enough to tuck in and we ended...

In my opinion this was the worst hotel, lodge or resort I've stayed at in the last 20+ years. It does NOT justify the 3 stars I saw on TripAdvisor. It is an old worn-out property. A new building is being built but the individual cabins should have been renovated first. The toilet is an antique, There is no banister on...

I had a time share week that was going to expire if I didn't book it in a month so I found the Piraju Resort was available. I read some of the bad reviews and warning that there was construction on the site but thought I'd take a chance and hope to get a newly renovated room. There is a...

This hotel is unsuitable for foreigners, because of their sharp practice. They advertise (booking.com and other sites where the hotel is responsible for contents) US dollar prices and credit card (Visa, Amex) acceptance. However, at payment time the guest is told that only cash is accepted. The dollar price is converted to pesos at 1:13 (Jan 15) and the guest...

The Pirayu Lodge was a very quiet, very relaxing place to stay after a long day of touring around the city and its landmarks. The lodge's pool was very inviting and a nice break from the heat as well. I must say Mauricio, the front desk attendant was awesome! He helped me with ALL my questions. He even called my...

As I could read in another opinions, there is a general lack of maintenance. Old structures with leaks if it rains, doors that make spooky sounds because they´ve been moving for a long time. You see, when you pay a certain amount of money you expect what you pay. And it is difficult to put a price to your expectations,...

After a long, hot day visiting the park, this was a welcome respite. The place is old, but very well kept. The staff is helpful and friendly and go out of their way to accommodate. The bungalows are clean, but dated. The a/c works well and there is a kitchen so you can cook. They have a pool, tennis courts...

This hotel offered great service, the staff was extremely helpful with suggestions and booking for other restaurants. They were helpful when I needed to contact friends at another hotel. Shuttles were available for us to go into Iguazu Falls city. They had a lovely swimming pool and in beautiful the jungle setting. The rooms were large and very clean. Food...

We stayed there during a week in december 2008, we had our Christmas there! When we arrived was late, and dark, so they took us to the lodge and we thought oh my god! downhill with a pushchair, up and down steps and who knows what else, I was given the week by a member of the time share so...
