It's a Sheraton - not much local flavour and not as nice as the best US ones. However, the location is unique - the Iguazu falls can be seen from the restaurant or the bar, and are easily accessible with any one of 3 well-designed public walks that leave from the property and that take about 1-2 hours each. The...

I wanted to love the Sheraton Iguazu but it just fell a little short of my lofty expectations. Needless to say, there were a lot of positives along with the improvements needed. So let's start out with the good... 1. Fantastic location - repeat - fantastic location. So close to all the walking trails 2. Very pretty grounds 3. Nice...

We stayed 3 nights here and were somewhat nervous given all the reviews we had read . The falls are totally awesome and well organized. We saw more wildlife here than in the rest of our trip to Argentina. We had a falls view room where the view is surreal. The breakfast was much better than expected lots of fresh...

We stayed for two nights in February 2017. Check-in was uneventful, and our room was clean and spacious, with a fantastic view of the falls. The bed was comfortable, the shower adequate and all amenities (WiFi, as well) worked as would be expected in a Sheraton. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The best thing about this place is the...

Comfort of the rooms and service are excelent. Being inside the National Park is an amazing experience and allows guest to explore Falls many times and easily. Apart from that food and beverage are very good.

Although advertised as a 5 star hotel, this in reality is no more than 3 star and that is generous. The decor and the rooms were very tired, basic and dated. The hotel, rooms and facilities (with the exception of the gym) look like they have not been updated since the70's. The gym and spa are decent enough but the...

The Sheraton is the only hotel on the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Consequently there is easy access to everything on the Argentine side. It has a fantastic view of one section of the falls. Although the hotel has been there for a while, it has been refreshed recently. The rooms are spacious and modern. The dining room buffet is...

Yes, the food and drinks are very pricey. However, I would trade that for the location and views any day of the week. And truth be told, the food wasn't as bad as others have indicated. We skipped the buffet as it seemed limited for the price. Order a la carte off the menu and it is still plenty of...

Warning signs in our room indicated that we should keep our patio door locked while out. The problem? The Monkey's! they are smart and can open the doors, they love to take shiny objects. So here we were, in the middle of a tropical jungle with a plethora or wild life, birds and insects. Now to the resort. We opened...

First, yes it is worth paying to stay in the park. Second, yes it is worth paying for the Falls view... IF you are not placed on the West end. We were given our request for the 3rd floor and given 304. But the Falls were greatly obstructed by a huge tree just off their property (toucans came to roost...
