La Alondra, Casa de Huespedes, is born from an antique house, with history and style. A place of luxury, cozi, warm, that not only offers a refuge for those who travel the world but for those who live in the city of Corrientes as well. Its location is ideal, with easy access from Corrientes and Resistencia airports, a few blocks away from the historical downtown area in Corrientes. La Alondra is based around an old town house close to the City centre yet quiet and restful; it's quirky, with photos of the old family on the walls, with a very personal service. It offers a set of rooms clustered around a small swimming pool surrounded by mango trees and also some further rooms round the corner. Mine - the latter - was well appointed with comfortable bed, clean and smart bathroom but a little dark as it was quite deep with only a small window. Fine for a night but would not have been very bright during the day. There is also a small gym and a comfortable lounge. Dinner was good in a smart bar/restaurant with lots of local produce and wines (as well as my favourite Argentinian appetiser, the rarely available Hesperidina). There is a massive garage. The hotel abuts an attractive residential district and is some 15 minutes walk to the beach and the City centre. Definitely recommended.

Our room was on the second floor. Room was big in size, nice beds and we liked the roof a lot. The whole hotel was nicely decorated with old stuff that suited well in the surroundigs. The weather was so hot so the swimming pool was very nice. A lot of mango trees, you have to be careful when they are ripe, might fall on your head while swimming:) We stayed six nights and the service and food were not same standard during our stay. Service was a bit slow. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was okay.

I was traveling for business and this was the place with the best reviews. However, everyone does have different tastes, and from what we saw walking, it seems that this probably was and is the best option. The room felt a bit tight however, i was told that i could have picked a bigger room that was recently renovated. The room felt old style but the bed was VERY comfortable. The service was amazing always there to help. Their dinner opened at a certain time, but they even allowed us to order earlier than allowed. Jullieta from the front desk was very kind and as was veronica whom was very patient with i and my business associate. I would have loved to see more vegan options on their menu, but they try to help in whichever way possible. I got the salad which turned out to be pretty good. One downside is there is only one key to the door, and if you are sharing the room, it gets quite loud to open and close this. The gym is bare minimum but i was glad to see one there , along with a pool. I would return as their service was on point. In the morning, we were going to be missing the breakfast so they prepared us fruit and coffee because we asked if they had food to- go. Once again, great job!

This hotel you could find in NY, Amsterdam or BA but we didn't expect it in Corrientes. The design was very styllish. Maybe a little to much but this the standard at this moment so most people will love it. The room was great. Big and bueatifull. The service was in general perfect. Only the restaurant was a little slow with breakfast and not perfect. Further there were some minor things like not toilet paper in public toilet and after getting this the key of the toilet was not there so you could not close it. The price is affordable when you compare it with big city hotels and fair for Corrientes

This is it. Best hotel I have stayed in. Love it. Unexpected super hit that just nailed everything. Is my new benchmark for other hotels. Good - unique - decor is fabulous - rooms are wow - attention to detail from lighting to linen - food is just mouth watering - indoor secure parking - lounge area is beautiful - warm welcome with fresh lemonade - obviously love what they do - a hotel that views a guest as you might a family member coming to stay. Bad - you have to leave at some point
