We have spend 2 weeks at Andes Lands and absolutely loved it. The house has a lot of history and Mike knows a lot of beauty spots in area and the local bodegas. We loved trying the fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden and of course, the swimming pool and the asado garden house. Another big plus for me... More

A very peaceful place to relax and enjoy. We felt very welcomed by Micheal the owner, a very nice chap. The rooms were very clean and the house quite nice and antique. The estate is old but very well kept up. Quite cozy. I'd recommend this b&b for any family.

We booked a stay at Andes Lands with little real idea of what an exceptional place this would turn out to be. After a few wrong turns driving there we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel part of the family from the word go. Everybody there was so freindly and we chatted away. The house is amongst the... More

We had the pleasure of returning to Andes Land last month for a second visit this year. The old farm house is located outside of San Rafael among vineyards, orchards and open fields, hosted by a charming English speaking Argentine family, Vicki, Miguel and their dogs, Jock, Rory, Archie and the new chocolate lab, Kelpie. It is a relaxed and... More

I really love that place, I feel it's one of my favorite places in the world. I was born in San Rafael, and I visited as first time this house when i was a teenage. Now I'm living in Lake Tahoe, US and when I'm visiting Argentina, it is one of the place that I take the chance to go!... More

Andeslands oozes personality and character just like its perfect hosts, Michael and Vicky. The warmest of welcomes, you are made to feel like personal friends as you become part of their home. Our children (17 and 10) equally loved their stay, given freedom of the house and wonderful garden, use of the pool and entertained by Michael and his passion... More

Having stayed at boutique hotels through the early part of our 2 week trip we decided to opt for Andes Land in the hope of finding something a little more personal. Set in beautiful surroundings, this Argentinian mansion delivered everything we were hoping and more. Extensive rustic accommodation, with superb pool and BBQ area, the gardens are large enough to... Having broken down on route to San Rafael and been stranded road side for a few hours I wasn't feeling too positive approaching Andes Land. However, the welcome I received was tremendous and the farm house and grounds were so enchanting that I soon forgot my frustrations. Days followed with mucho Asada and Malbec, if this wasn't enough Mike and... More

If you enjoy outdoor activities combined with wine tasting and staying in a relaxing, peaceful place this is just for you!!Our B&B is on a farm in San Rafael (Mendoza) heart of the wine growing region in Argentina. Our place is an old farm 'estancia' house which has been in the family for over 100 years, set in a lovely garden at the foot of the mountains. Our house includes an outdoor pool (used in summer), badminton court and BBQ. Horse rides can be arranged directly from the farm.San Rafael is a great location if you like outdoor activities (rafting, trekking, horse rides, etc) and is the ideal starting point for the wine trail up to Mendoza city. In winter we provide an ideal stop for a night on the way to Las Lenas ski resort. How to get thereIf you are coming from San Rafael City Center you have to:-Take Av Ballofet (direction to Valle Grande), go over the two bridges then turn on the first right (after the second bridge). -After 900 meters take first left on Calle El Moro (this is the first paved road to your left after turning off the bridge).-Continue down El Moro for 4.800 meters up to where paving ends, then turn left in to Andeslands.GPS coordinates are South 34 degrees 40.786 sec and West 68 degrees 24.266 sec ... more   less
