We found some great spots as we traveled across Argentina but Finca Los ALamos was the best. Hospitality was out of this world and I have never felt more at home while away from home. Carolina and her family, who run the finca, spent most of the days showing us around and sending us to the best local spots. We cannot wait to return, as I cannot imagine going back to Argentina and not going back to Finca Los ALamos! Not only was every inch of the place full of amazing history and beauty but we were made to feel like family, which was 100% genuine. The food was out of this world and I was even given a cooking lesson by the wonderful chef! Do not travel to San Rafael and miss staying at least one night in this very special spot! More

Los Alamos is simply enchanting. The building has so much history it seems to speak to you, and you feel at home from the first moment. Our host was wonderful, greeting us into her family home and at all times making us comfortable and welcomed but without always having to be at our sides. The food was wonderful, the grounds peaceful, and the regional surrounding Los Alamos is some of the most beautiful and least visited in Argentina. Should you visit, make sure to take up the offer of riding locally and rent a car as you really are quite far from major transport hubs. The roads surrounding are better quality than most of those in the UK and it is very easy to navigate around. The local town (San Rafael) is very warm and welcoming too. More
