If you stay here you're really only paying for the location. It's 1 block from Plaza Independencia and near the walking mall and many many good restaurants. The front desk staff are very very nice. They called me by name each time they saw me. The bad: the room doesn't have any outlets except 1 in the bathroom next to... More

Good: Wonderful staff - I was hit by a car outside and the maître came outside to check on me. He then sent a maid to my room to check on me and she also asked me if I was alright again the next morning. Centrally located. Bad: Dated rooms. There are cheaper and much nicer hotels in Mendoza. Breakfast... More

The Good: This hotel is centrally located, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Its sister hotel next door has the parking garage, which is accessible 24 hours by pressing a buzzer, and it has direct access to the lobby. The breakfast is decent, some cold cuts and cheeses, mostly pastries, breads, yogurt and juices. The staff is pleasant and... More

I stayed here one night before heading to the outskirts of Mendoza. The location is good, central in the small city. I requested a non-smoking room and our room and the entire hotel for that matter had a lingering smell of cigarettes. I had trouble sleeping because of the overwhelming smell of cigarettes, it permeated the bedding. If you there... More

I am not a critical person, but this hotel was completely awful. Our room was burning hot as there was a centrally controlled radiator that we could not turn off. We could not sleep. Additionally, even though they are located in the heart of Argentina's wine country, the hotel did not have a corkscrew for us to borrow. The staff... More

We were in Mendoza for a couple of days in order to prepare for our Aconcagua climb. We booked this hotel on-line a few days in advance from Buenos Aires. The frontdesk staff were helpful and arranged without any hassle accomodation of all our huge baggage. The Carollo hotel is connected with its sister hotel Princess on the other side.... More

this is a hotel that needs a bit of a refit but most of the staff are pleasent and helpful the pool can be cool but is clean and well kept and for its location the hotel is more than quiet. unfortunately my stay was marred by a over flirtious and resentful gay recectionist as i did not return his... The staff at this hotel are friendly and very helpful, however the rooms are small and very dated. There are only two temperatures in the room, hot when the airconditioner is off and freezing when it is on. Also, the only way to turn it on and off is via the front desk! The bathooms are miniscule and the shower... More

This place needs to monitor and control air conditioners from front desk. The units freeze up if they run for too long so be sure to get it turned off while you are way from the hotel. The street noise is unbearable so opening the window is not a good solution. If you go for breakfast after 10am, you will... More
