We only stayed for one night, it was just right. The hotel was clean, the room spotless, it was spacey enough, the breakfast items were fresh, varied, tasty, the fruit salad was not canned (yay!), the staff was welcoming and friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very well located, in front of Plaza Independencia. Would surely come back.

We found this hotel on free WiFi after fleeing an awful hotel before. We were desperate for something clean. And this was it! The room was large and wonderfully clean. It was quiet at night and easy to sleep. Breakfast was simple, but good, and the staff was incredibly helpful. They recommended places to eat and helped us by bus... More

This small hotel is perfectly located to explore Mendoza. Across from Plaza Independencia, it is comfortable, the staff is wonderful and includes a very decent breakfast buffet. There are many restaurants within walking distance and a pedestrian boulevard with cafes and shops. At night, there was a lot of activities at Plaza Independencia.

Terrific location, right on Plaza Independencia, so easy walking distance from lovely restaurants (Azafran!) and the pedestrian streets, our room was quiet, moderately spacious, with solid wifi and clean, comfortable beds. Their doubles are only full sized beds, which is a little snug for us used to sleeping in a King, so we opted for two twin beds, which was... More

on new year's eve 2014, when adrian at the front desk, said "just a minute, i'll get something for you. i have it in my car outside." and came back with a handful of fireworks for us to let off in the plaza across the road, we knew this was a real family hotel. they're proud of their hotel and... Good: Wonderful location, right on Plaza Independencia. I had a room with a balcony that opened onto the Plaza and was never bothered by noise. Very nice, friendly staff that know the area and have good recommendations. Let you store your belongings for a few days free of charge. Bad: Pool is tiny and looked iffy. Breakfast is scant -... The hotel is located in the city center right next to Plaza Independencia. Rooms could use an upgrade, especially the mattresses. My back hurt after night one, we could change rooms and got a room which was a little better. Breakfast is ok, not a lot of options. Staff is friendly but most of them don't speak a word English.... This place has a brilliant location, right across from the Hyatt, at a quarter of the price- but also none of the frills. Very clean, simple furnishings, very helpful friendly staff. Breakfast not great and no safe in our room.

We only had 1 night there, but Hotel San Martin was in a great position, a short taxi trip from the bus station where we came in and opposite a pretty plaza. It was walking distance from good bars, restaurants and central Mendoza (which is a great little town!). The front desk service staff were very friendly and helpful, the... More

Stayed here both pre- and post-Aconcagua climbing expedition - nice, clean, friendly hotel, centrally-located to dining, shopping and across the street from the historical Plaza Independencia. Easy to walk everywhere! Great bar-b-q and Argentine wine shops close by, and an amzing gelato shop very close as well! Would highly recommend if you are going to be in Mendoza.
