If you a traveling to Villa General Belgrano in the province of Cordoba, Argentina this hotel is by far the best I have stayed in this area of the world. I stay at this hotel often but this past weekend we rented a cabin nearby because we had so many people we elected a cabin but we used the spa facilities and played golf at this hotel because as I mentioned I normally always stay here for 2 reasons 1st I like to play golf and this hotel has a 6 hole golf course immaculately kept and the 2nd reason I stay is because of the massage therapist who's name is Vanessa Morgan, I am a 200 pound plus athlete and enjoy massages but very difficult to find a massage therapist who has the strength and fine touch to tune up my body when needed and Vanessa gave my entire family massages during the week and made our family reunion all that much better, everyone was happy to say the least. The entire staff is very friendly and most importantly have smiles and in the many years that I have stayed at this hotel the constant positive energy and fine service I seek is always present!…
Altos de Belgrano is an amazing hotel in the outskirts of the city of Villa General Belgrano. The resort has manicured gardens and even boasts a golf course and a spa. The cottages are presently going through renovation (this may make your stay a little bit noisy) and will offer more (or larger) rooms, soon. The outdoor pool was a bit cold to my liking and the indoor one needs refurbishing but those are minor details when compared to the high quality service and fantastic rooms. Particularly, we were upgraded to a suite and the experience was unforgettable. Breakfast was very satisfactory and it included some local pastries. I recommend the "criollitos" without any doubt. Just stuff them with ham and cheese or try them with local jams and you will be in heaven!
Very nice surprise of a hotel on the outskirts of the city of Belgrano. Worth staying there if you travel in the area. Well maintained, newer built or renovated hotel, modern amenities and rooms are very clean and large. The hotel has both an outdoor and a heated indoor pool with a hot tub. Spa services (e.g., massage) are also available. The only downside was the extremely spotty wifi signal. Basically the farther away from the front desk your room was, the weaker the signal was. This is very annoying when you are a business traveller and rely on the hotel's advertised free wifi. I will likely return in the area later this year and hope the hotel addresses the wifi issue, if I choose to stay at the same hotel.
