This trip I took my wife and daughter. It was my daughters first trip to a dove shoot where there is no limit on doves and all the shooting you can handle. Her bird boy was just great. Continued to give her pointers on shooting (to far, wait, good shot, etc.). She wants to return and wants the same bird boy. Ihad as much fun watching her as shooting. I did a lot of shooting. The food was as always, five stars. If you want to shoot doves, I recommend this lodge.

From the moment we got to the airport in Cordoba, everything was perfect. A friendly driver took us to the lodge. I was traveling with my son and during our stayed at the Lodge we met people from different countries. The staff at the lodge is people very helpful and friendly. We felt like at home.
The hunting spots were just great. I've never seen so many doves at once. It is a place that it is not easy to forget and I'm sure I will come back soon.
I would recommend it anyway.

My wife and I spent a week, when we arrived at the airport the lodge sent men to pick our bags off the carousel a driver was waiting for us with refreshments, arriving at the lodge was a receiving line of the staff with champagne. Edwardo said treat this as your home.
Every meal was what every we requested a large wine cellar and your choice. All included, I was concerned that my wife would be bored while I was hunting and my wife stayed at the lodge.
Happily she really enjoyed the lodge, cocktails by the pool and the quiet beauty of the country side, the hunting was incredible . Everything was perfect, it was a terrific get away for both relaxing terrific staff, I would recommend for any couple as well as friends.

The shooting was fantastic. On my first full day of shooting I shot 1145 doves with 1500 shots. That is my average. Over my stay of 3 full days of shooting (morning and afternoon. Plus one afternoon on the first day and a morning shoot on the last day I shot 3102 doves with and average of 75.66%. The trips to the fields are short, 15 minutes to 45 minutes. You can stay in the field all day or return to the lodge for a great mid day meal. I go for the food. The food was as usually, just great.

I have been shooting at this lodge for the last 10 years. It is just a great place to shoot and eat some great steaks. I can not say much for the wine as I do not drink adult beverages. I shot with Martin 3 years ago, he is from the UK. He shot an amazing 5080 doves in one day with 6300 shots. I had a video of my trip this time, this is a new option. Just remember to bring shooting gloves, the shotgun does get that hot. This trip should be on every shotgunners bucket list. I just keep refilling the bucket. Jeff Lang Charleston, SC.

Some of the best dove hunting and accommodations in Argentina, Eduardo is great and makes you feel at home, try it you'll like it. Fields are close and you have all the comforts of home, a 1000 dives a day is common at this lodge.

I have never written on trip advisor before this - This is my first review and I'm only doing this as El Cortijo is a very special place.

What an amazing trip! We travelled as a group of three and had been looking forward to shooting doves in Cordoba for a couple of years. What we experienced was way beyond all of our expectations. From the moment we were met at the airport with a cold beer to the minute we said goodbye, we were looked after incredibly well. Pablo and Manu our host and the Lodge Manager looked after our every need and made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. The lodge, was first class with comfortable big rooms and lovely bathrooms. All rooms have access to the swimming pool which is in the centre of the complex only a couple of meters from the door of each room. Daniel the chef is a genius and very talented. He can cook steak like no other man I have met and his selection of starters and nibbles were out of this world. We wanted to take him home. The wine was delicious and like the food it was plentiful with an impressive selection. We were three hungry Scotsman and were offered more than we could eat and all of it was absolutely delicious. A great selection of drinks at the bar as well meant that you couldn't have wanted for anything more.
The Lodge and staff are so impressive that its almost forgivable to forget about why we were there. The dove shooting. Most people that shoot a bit in the UK will have heard about the doves in Cordoba but until you experience it, its very difficult to describe the shear volume of doves and the availability of sport of offer just a few minutes drive from the lodge. We shot so frequently that we could barley lift the guns at the end of the day! The shooting was challenging and the bird continuos. Again, in the field, the team of bird boys and spotters were great company and brilliant at their jobs. We were equipped with ample cartridges and the guns were loaded as quickly as we could fire the gun. Cool beer was always on tap and it was great to have a few breaks every now and again to let the guns and us could down.
I haven't been to any other lodges or shoots in Cordoba but when we return, which we will, we wouldn't even consider looking for anywhere other that El Cortijo and SYC Hunting. 100% in every way! Make the trip! You won't be disappointed.

Toby, it's always a challenge to find a way to explain what high-volume dove hunting means, the service we try to give and the experience that hunters get; I think your kind words describe what we try to achieve for every hunter. Thanks for your visit and your help to control the doves pest in Cordoba!

From the moment we arrived they over delivered. The entire staff took care of us. The hunting was fantastic. Food was off the chart. Edgar never let our glasses get empty. Daniels food was cooked to perfection. Manny made sure anything we needed was done. Bird Boys worked so hard to insure hunting was great. Eduardo was an super host. Jose helped me set up the trip and every detail was in place before we left. Already working on next trip

The only thing there is to say about El Cortijo is...perfection. From the moment we were promptly picked up at the airport, to putting us on the hot spots for thousands of dove, to the amazing feasts that always awaited us back at the lodge...this place was perfection, professionalism, and home. Cannot wait to go back.

This place has the most amazing hospitality. I am writing this in the view of a NON-HUNTER, to inform those wanting to tag along, that you will have an amazing time also. The staff, Eduardo, Lucas, Edgar, Juan, Neolia, Daniel.... are the most gracious hosts I’ve encountered. I went to the field on one afternoon hunt to see what it was like. The hunters were having an amazing time. I also had them arrange a city tour of Cordoba with a private guide one day, so i had a full day at that and the guide Berenice was fantastic. Another day, i got to hang out with Eduardo and Juan to tend to the sheep (at my requests, just ask, they love it). Spent the morning talking with Eduardo about his life and country, priceless! The food is spectacular, the hunt is phenomenal, they are SO accommodating! My experience made my heart full.

It was a great weekend for everyone at the lodge, it was full of very good hunters and incredible people. Most of the time it's not a businees for us, it's a way to meet new people and get good friends. We really love Texans, but don't tell everyone because someone can get jealous. I'll share your words with everyone at the lodge. Thanks a lot for your kind words.
