Stay away! The rebuild was in the 80s and desperately needs another one. I was afraid to step in the shower. Basics were all missing - no tissues, no face cloth, no mini fridge. Shampoo was made of soap. You had to pay extra to go to the swimming pool! The public beach is so crowded and muddy and full of floating weeds, you didn't want to go in. Th bar had the bare basics. Only good part was the food. The breakfasts were acceptable but the dinner menu was very good!

Very comfortable and stylish hotel, pleasant service and a good breakfast, the hotel is right on the beach with a private pool, this is a place to live when you're in the Mar del Plata. We staude for 7 nights And loves every minut of it. The straff was amazingly helpfull troughout our stay.

This hotel should be visited by Canadians! The rooms are huge, the staff is super friendly to English speakers, it has the widest halls we have ever seen. It is located centrally, right on the beach. The amazing thing is that they have a tunnel under the promenade to the beach and the tents or “campa” and towels are free to the guests. The tents have a roof and 4 sides. They have an outside swimming pool too - unusual for the beach. And when you see the crowds on the beach, you will be very glad! The tents have 4 chairs and a table. Shade and sun both, as you prefer. We walked to most of the visitable places. In the restaurant they have an amazing price for excellent house wines. They do a great job of the Argentinian beef too. Also they have gluten free food. I have not been sick yet. And although English does not come easily to Argentinas they are delighted to help you. And especially delighted if you try to speak Spanish.

We enjoyed the history of this hotel and the central location for the Ironman completion. We had a large room with a city view. WiFi was close in the grand common area. Service was friendly & consistent. The private beach/outdoor pool was not yet open for the season, but it looked very nice. The workout room did not have functioning equipment at the time of our visit, but there are plenty of opportunities to exercise outside. The indoor pools are beautiful. It was a bit creepy at night because it has a feeling of emptiness...with clown paintings. But no complaints overall with the location, room size, & history. Glad we stayed for the Ironman!

Old stained carpets, horrible smell, shredded bed linens, dirty furniture, the bathroom cabinet lock is a rusted nail! Not kids friendly! The cribs are high so they are only useful for very small babys ( less than 6 months), kids club it is not available! Terrible experience!!!
