Very nice boutique hotel with lovely and very friendly staff. Cute courtyard with a very charming inhabitant, Malevo the cat! Our room facing the courtyard was large and well appointed. Front desk staff incredibly helpful. The doors / walls are not soundproof so one does hear some noise, but not a major problem and overall a wonderful place to stay...

We stayed here for five nights following friends' recommendation. It is a very comfortable boutique hotel. Our room was at the back, overlooking the courtyard, which we would recommend as rooms at the front could be noisy. It was very hot while we were there and the air conditioning in our room ceased to work. Without hesitation, we were moved...

Simply perfect. Each personalized room is beautiful, impeccably clean, and quiet. The bathrooms are also fantastic: great showers and wonderfully clean. The staff is cheerful, generous, and incredibly helpful. They make the stay! The hotel is in the heart of Palermo on a beautiful street. It's near phenomenal boutique shopping, tree-lined avenues, and amazing places to eat. Please stay here!...

We stayed here for one night on our way home from Antarctica - an amazing trip expertly put together for us by Imagine Latin America. From the moment we walked in throught the (discreet) front door we were made as welcome as it's possible to feel. The building is a stunning blend of tradional and modern (the latter necessary to...

We spent two nights here in February. The hotel is in a nice, trendy neighborhood with lots of activity, though we preferred being closer to the more traditional sites. If you come to BA alot, this location might work, but for us who hadnt been here before, we much preferred recoleta. The hotel, itself, is well decorated and comfortable. I...

Located in the Palermo district, this small hotel offers excellent service. The rooms were lovely, individually decorated. Ours was themed on Jose Manuel Belgrano. Large comfortable bed, large very nice bathroom. I had some shirts and t/shirts laundered at very reasonable cost. Every help was given by the staff on the front desk. The breakfast was good and the restaurants...

This hotel is situated in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, out of the town centre but the metro can easily be reached with a few minutes walk. It is discretely located and beautifully presented inside. Everything about this hotel is superb from the incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff to the well-presented rooms. The locality is a busy neighbourhood...

Ambience is quiet elegance with an emphasis on dark wood and leather. Rooms are a good size and service from the front desk feels personal and friendly. Great location, too, in a very safe neighbourhood with plenty of good restaurants close by - I highly recommend Parilla Don Julio. The nearest metro stop is 15-20 minutes walk, and you can...

Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. It is in a perfect location for exploring the city, and very close to great bars and restaurants. The staff are amazingly helpful and gave us lots of very good advice for shopping trips etc. The rooms are beautiful (as are the public spaces) and comfortable. Our first visit, we had a room...

I stayed one night on my way home after a fishing trip. It was a treat. I do appreciate owner run places and this hotel is a good example. From a cordial welcome over rooms with names rather than numbers, that are opened by old fashioned keys, that you turn in when leaving, everything had a nice nostalgic touch. My...

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
