A huge positive for this hotel is the location - right in Palermo Soho, which is a very trendy neighbourhood, with numerous bars, restaurants and shops. Lots to do and great place to stroll and people-watch. Also convenient location to get anywhere else in BA. The hotel is small, but very personal and cosy. Everything well-maintained, and almost like staying in a friend's house. Super friendly staff on the front desk. Lovely large lounge behind reception for breakfast, a glass of wine, or just sitting. Rooms are a little on the small side, but well equipped and clean. Highly recommended.
A great small boutique hotel in the Palermo Soho neighbourhood. Well appointed rooms and a quiet courtyard at the back. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast and many restaurants nearby.
This was our first stop on a 3 week vacation in Argentina (organised through Audley Travel). Audley know us well from 6 previous itineraries and Legado Mitico was an inspired choice for us. 8 suites await guests, all of a high standard and decorated in a traditional style. Greeted with a welcoming drink and an introduction to Dulche de Leche - ‘toffee’ to the initiated. Soft drink, coffee or tea offered. Note also a glass of wine or a beer is offered each evening - complimentary. Our room was very well appointed and very well serviced. Breakfast - a simple affair with a very god choice of continental breakfast - eggs in various guises could be ordered at no extra cost. More than enough to set you up for the day. Supper is not served though snacks are available. The area is full of a wide range of cafes and restaurants. There is a large lounge and external area where you can enjoy the peace and quiet from the external buzz of one of the most popular areas of Buenos Aires. The district comes alive in the evening with a wide range of boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. A very safe neighbourhood of the city. Would conclude by paying a special compliment to the staff who offered excellent service throughout our stay, from the warm welcome onwards. Excellent English spoken. Their advice on restaurants and places to visit made this a most enjoyable 3 night stay.…
This hotel does not look like a hotel, it’s a locked black door that opens into a dark reception with the warmest of welcomes! It’s a warm and modern country house style vibe with Latino flair. Library and downstairs are great if you want to sit and chill. Our room was big and bathroom had shower over the bath. We had a long french window looking to the courtyard which was pretty. Aside from the comforts of a great hotel the real thing is the location. Slap bang in the middle of Palmero area with vast amounts of restaurants, bars, cafes and nice clothes shop. The breakfast had little choice but enough choice for seasoned travellers. The front of house was very helpful it’s got a good vibe.
The best thing about this very good hotel is the concierge staff. All of them are really helpful and know their area, and listened to what we wanted, and made excellent recommendations for evening meals and were always cheerful and helpful. The hotel is worth staying in just for the quality of the decor, but the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The area (Palermo Soho) is a great place in the evening and night - very different in the daytime but still with some exellent eateries - but the hotel double-double glazing made our room at the back very quiet indeed. We actually stayed at the beginning and end of our trip to Antractica and highly recommend this hotel.
