I have been there six times. Maria Teresa is an excellent hostess. The staff have been remarkably helpful and the location is within walking distance of the legendary Buenos Aires milongas. Perfect for the visiting tango aficionado

Marias Tango House lies in Balvanera, a quiet, safe and neat neighborhood, relatively close to a multitude of buses and the subway. The house is very charming, with large, high-lofted rooms. My wife and I lived in the apartment with entrance from the flowery patio, and we loved it! The apartment has bathroom with a bathing tub, kitchen, living/sleeping room...

We, a couple and myself have just spent a wonderful week in La Casa de Maria Tango. The Casa is clean, charming, well located. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring that their guests have a very good stay and leave with a good awareness of Buenos Aires - its culture, it's art, its music, dance - Tango!...

I had a wonderful stay with Maria, Aleksandra and Federico. They introduced me to tango concerts, teachers, milongas and helped me to buy tango shoes. We shared dinners and coffee on numerous occasions. Aleksandra accompanied me on an excursion to Uruguay. Everyone was so hospitable, and did everything possible to make my stay fabulous. I can't wait to return.

This very friendly house is a great place to stay especially if you are wanting to dance tango in the home of Tango. There are usually other Tango dancers in the house or Maria or her staff will take you to the milongas which are close by. The rooms are clean and well equipped without being overly luxurious. The house...

Maria Teresa, Carina, Federico, Marta and Alberto are lovely persons. So helpfull and honest with a big heart. They gave me the feeling to be there at home from the first minute I´ve been in contact with them. When I wrote an e- mail to ask about the possibility to live there, and got an answer in the next days,...

A little review on Maria Teresa's tango house: I have been to Buenos Aires six or seven times, and I have stayed at Maria's house all but one of those times. The advantages are of being able to have other tango lovers in the house, so that you can go to eat together, shop, see sights, and of course, go...

I just returned from 2 1/2 weeks stay with La Casa de Maria Tango Guesthouse in Buenos Aires, my 2nd stay at this property. It's my favorite place to stay in Bs As while visiting for tango, as most of the other guests are also tangueros. There's always someone to go to milongas with, including Maria Teresa who is often...

My first trip to Buenos Aires was for tango in May 2014, and Maria's was the perfect place to stay. Even though I did not speak the language, from the moment I was picked up by Susanna at the airport, I knew I had found my home-away-from-home in this new country. Maria's Tango House is comfortable and charming, and I...
