I have been at "La Casa de Maria tango" for one month to Dance Argentine tango and study, Maria's Tango place was very welcoming by Maria, the house is very nice and special, a lot of schools and Milongas around the house's location in a walking distance witch is very comfortable after dancing hours in classes and a Milonga, Maria... I had a wonderful stay with Maria, Aleksandra and Federico. They introduced me to tango concerts, teachers, milongas and helped me to buy tango shoes. We shared dinners and coffee on numerous occasions. Aleksandra accompanied me on an excursion to Uruguay. Everyone was so hospitable, and did everything possible to make my stay fabulous. I can't wait to return.

This very friendly house is a great place to stay especially if you are wanting to dance tango in the home of Tango. There are usually other Tango dancers in the house or Maria or her staff will take you to the milongas which are close by. The rooms are clean and well equipped without being overly luxurious. The house... More

Maria Teresa, Carina, Federico, Marta and Alberto are lovely persons. So helpfull and honest with a big heart. They gave me the feeling to be there at home from the first minute I´ve been in contact with them. When I wrote an e- mail to ask about the possibility to live there, and got an answer in the next days,... More

A little review on Maria Teresa's tango house: I have been to Buenos Aires six or seven times, and I have stayed at Maria's house all but one of those times. The advantages are of being able to have other tango lovers in the house, so that you can go to eat together, shop, see sights, and of course, go... More

I just returned from 2 1/2 weeks stay with La Casa de Maria Tango Guesthouse in Buenos Aires, my 2nd stay at this property. It's my favorite place to stay in Bs As while visiting for tango, as most of the other guests are also tangueros. There's always someone to go to milongas with, including Maria Teresa who is often... My first trip to Buenos Aires was for tango in May 2014, and Maria's was the perfect place to stay. Even though I did not speak the language, from the moment I was picked up by Susanna at the airport, I knew I had found my home-away-from-home in this new country. Maria's Tango House is comfortable and charming, and I... More

If you are a first timer to Buenos Aries or a well traveled tango dancer this is the place to stay. Maria and her lovely staff mostly family members now, will take very good care of you. The place is charming and centrally located for touring the city or going to MIlongas. Subway, Buses and Taxi's are very close by... More

I chose to stay in Maria's Tango House after reading reviews on Trip Advisor recommending it by other solo female travellers. From the moment I was picked up from the airport by Maria's friend Susanna, I felt like I was with family. Alberto and Marta welcomed me that night, sharing delicious empanadas and wine and lending me Pesos until changing... More

I spent three weeks at this guest house. I was travelling solo to experience a tango immersion. Maria Teresa is a consummate host and guide, and shares her passion for tango and socializing freely with her guests. Members of her family attend to your day to day needs on site, whether that's a charger for your phone, a local restaurant... More
