Palo Santo is a design and luxury boutique hotel located in the trendy Palermo district in Buenos Aires. It is the first urban green hotel in Latin America. Its modern green architecture features beautiful vertical gardens, great water fountains, large, light-filled, modern and stunningly designed rooms and suites. Enchanting vertical gardens emerge from the hotel's facades and patio. Its roof, courtyard and balconies are all filled with plants. The main water fountain is 20-meter high and runs through the building's central patio, from the rooftop to the lobby. Palo Santo rooms and suites were conceived as design apartments. They are spacious, filled with natural light and well-equipped: LED TV, minibar, individual climate control, exclusive White Tea amenities and a private balcony. The hotel offers free high-speed WiFi in rooms and in common areas, a contemporary cuisine restaurant, an exclusive gourmet a la carte breakfast, room service, meeting room, rooftop terrace with whirlpool bath and recreational pool, solarium and Guest Relations service. Palo Santo gives its guests an exclusive printed city guide with handcrafted itineraries and personal advice to help them grasp the spirit of Buenos Aires. The hotel is located in the trendiest part of Palermo Hollywood, a must-see touristic area, steps away from the best bars and restaurants in town, close to all major attractions. Public transportation can be easily accessed, including a subway station 300 meters away (0.2 Miles). The hotel has developed an extensive eco-responsible program that covers all important aspects of sustainability: energy, water, CO2 and O3, insulation, air and operations.

Neighborhood
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

This property is well situated in Palermo with easy access to many restaurants. The rooms are very contemporary and comfortable and the hotel has an attentive staff. If you want an excellent breakfast off-site, I suggest Pani on Nicaragua - a 6 minute walk from the hotel. Starbucks is immediately across the street from Pani if a caffeine fix is all you need.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed here for a couple of nights before flying home again after two weeks in Argentina for our honeymoon. It’s tucked down a quiet street in the Palermo neighbourhood. We were upgraded to a suite - which was amazing! Luxurious room, beautiful bathroom and very comfy bed! Lovely courtyard downstairs for Al Fresco dining if the weather’s right, and the food in the restaurant was just incredible - Asian fusion style with some of the best sushi we’ve ever had! Also a lovely breakfast. Sadly pool and rooftop bar were closed but it was mid-October so understandable that they hadn’t opened for the season yet! Don’t hesitate to book, it’s great value for money.

Do not be impressed by the surroundings, once you pass the entrance you will be amazed. Hotel is nice, clean, people is kind and very helpful, I was given a great recommendation for a tango dancing shows, you won't regret going to one. Breakfast was buffet, amazing!

It is not easy to make an overall rate about the experience on this structure, because there is a great distance between positive and negative aspects. The hotel is in a great location, close to many restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. The hotel's restaurant offers really good Asian dishes for a reasonable price and the breakfast buffet is really varied and good. However, it should be noted that the structure is not yet well run in and needs some refinement, I bring to attention two examples: - the positioning of the lights in the room makes no sense, when you are in bed you do not have a general switch to turn off the lights, those of the bedside table can not be turned off from the bed (you have to get up) and there are no power outlets within reach to charge your phone, PC, tablet, etc.. - I stayed at the hotel on the night of the 17th, a festive day in Argentina, but a hotel of this category can not afford not to offer the service of catering, room service, etc.. I repeat the hotel has everything to become a really classy structure, but you need to improve a few steps

The hotel was very cozy and welcoming! We were able to check-in to our room earlier at noon, which was a bonus give a 10-hour fight. The room was spacious with a balcony facing the courtyard. While we were on a low floor (2nd), we did not have any noise issues. The staffs were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and tips! I really liked the hotel's mission to conserve energy and promote green initiatives, but few things that the hotel should still continue to do - 1) clear the trash in the bathroom & 2) replenish lotion/shampoo in the room. We stayed here for 3 nights and the trash did not get emptied during the 2nd day. By the time we got back to the hotel, it was too late to notify housekeeping, luckily it was emptied on the 3rd day. There is a pool on the top floor with a nice view but it wasn't heated during our visit (end of May). The breakfast buffet was good and they made the most delicious coffee. Location was great too as it was safe and easy to walk to bars/restaurants in the area at night. I'd return to this hotel again!
